Hey y'all, I just wanted to say sorry if it seems like ghosted out on everyone, well because I did. I've just been so devastated over losing Mowgli, my Granny, Tommy, and now my brother. So I'm sorry i haven't been myself, Mowgli was my white velvet heart, guardian of my soul, and he lived for me, and gave everything he had for me. I know he has touched so many lives, and had special relationships with each and every single person that came into his life. I've lost so many friends, and beloved pets in my life, and they've all been, and are still hard to bare. However, with Mowgli I now truly know the meaning, and weight of an unbreakable bond. It's like I can sense him there, but I can't hold him, and tell him " mama loves you, my little wolf." I couldn't even tell y'all how many pillows I have to surround myself with just trying to make it feel like he's still there with me at night. Also I wanted to say thank you to everyone for the unbelievable support y'all are still giving to me through this, and how understanding y'all have been. If anyone needs help with anything please don't hesitate to ask, I'll do whatever I can.

🙌Whitecap reached back out and have finalized their dog safety ramps for the canals, very pleased with Shawn managing the project there. Raising hell really did alot in this situation to save lives in the future, everyone on here should pay themselves on the back for being supportive of this measure 💯
Praying for this cool front to keep lowering the Temps so I can get out and start installation again. Sorry it's been such a hot summer and it was too hot to make them in the shop. Halfway done with sponsored ramps✔️

I took off the 4th of July weekend but we are ready for our next round of installs. Who's down? I'm able to do them Fri or Sat 9am-11am ot gets too hot later in the day.

Just wanted to give y'all a little update on Bear, Bear. Also I just wanted to say how very grateful I am to the extreme effort everyone put into saving his life. It was no small feat given the circumstances, his weight, the complete lack of resources, and the tiny window to get him out. Mowgli gave his life trying to save Bear, but there was nowhere for them to go. So I want to remind y'all once your dog is trained to use the dock, they can help train other dogs to the same. Much love to this amazing community, and I know together we can make a more permanent lasting change that is absolutely necessary for the safety of this community, visitors, our pups, and children

🌟🌟 I have 50 more ramps to install and can only manage 3 a day. I'll do my best to make sure our current list gets filled over the next month but sadly after I hand make the remaining 30 I have to step away from this project. I've put my heart and soul into it, but it's too much for me to take on. I've made no progress with city council and need to spend time on my job and my family. Thank you for all the support we hit our goal of about 1 in each canal and I feel good about that. 🙌

Im sad to see this. Id hoped for the best. Our prototype ramp which I put in about 2 months ago had alot of barnacles and stuff the last foot of the ramp. Luckily our ramps still have 7 ft before the waterline and that stays clean. Her husband was able to pressure wash them off but this ramp may need to be maintained once a month. If you are okay with this great, if you need to cancel your ramp due to maintenance please let me know. 💔

Lost another pet in the canal this morning 💔 this must stop. It's why we are here. I'm trying as fast as I can but I cannot make whitecap make Ramps. Please let our Councilmen know that they NEED safety exits NOW

Half our ramps are ready for install, if you have donated please let me know what day and time are good for me to stop by and install it on your dock. You can choose your own hardware but we have a standard brace that comes with it. Thank you and see you soon!

We have assembled 25 Ramps so far, that means 40 more to go. It takes me average 1-2 hrs to complete each ramp. If anyone able to help it would be very appreciated. I plan on installation this weekend of our first 5 if weather permits. This is a huge undertaking so any help is appreciated ✅️ again thanks to Coastal woodworking and concrete design for allowing us to use part of their shop and making cuts. 🤘

Sorry to post again about our docks 4 dogs project but time is of the essence and I need yalls help. City Council will be voting on code updates in the coming weeks. I need all hands on deck here. Our wonderful Councilman Dan Suckley has graciously agreed to introduce the uniform code changes, he lived on the canals in the 90s and faced the same problem for his puppy. The change would require and developers (like whitecap) be required to install permanent concrete safety exits in each of the 5 miles of canals they are digging up. Please please please email or call these Councilman and support this code change. We can't change the mistake of the canals thar were built but we can make a change moving forward that addresses the safety failures of the past.
