When you feed a raw diet, you feed significantly less food because there is zero filler. That means, less waste after digestion. The proof is in the 💩.

𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 💩—𝗬𝗲𝘀, 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆!

Looking at 💩, talking about 💩… it’s a typical part of my day!

When switching dogs from kibble to fresh food, many pet parents get concerned when their dog isn’t pooping as often or producing as much. But guess what? 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴!

🐶 A healthy dog typically poops twice a day. If they were going four times a day on kibble, the change can feel dramatic—especially when there’s way less to pick up!

📸 That’s why I now have many clients start a 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 💩📷 on their phones. It helps me see what their dog’s stools looked like before and during the transition.

Over the years, I’ve learned that what some people think is “too firm” or “too small” is actually 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 on a fresh diet. Now, instead of adjusting the diet based on perception, I ask for 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 first!

💡 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹?
• Your phone automatically dates photos, making it easy to track changes.
• It’s helpful for your vet when discussing stool quality, timing, and any dietary or medication effects.

🥩🥚 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲, so there’s simply less waste.
So 𝗿𝗲𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲—𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗯𝗮𝗴 is a good sign of efficient nutrient absorption. 🙌🐾
