What a fun weekend at the BDA!! It was too cold for outdoor class, so we went to home depot to work. And find so many great skills to work on! Great job everyone!

We had such a great class this morning! My yard is still floating, so we went to the mall! It was the first adventure for a few of the dogs and was great progress for a few older ones. I'm so proud of all these folks and how much work they've been doing with their dogs!

Mac Dubh has gone to class twice this week! Kaitlin worked him the first time, and by work I mean settle and good settle 😁 Today her got to hang out with the big kids until it was his turn. He met people very politely and happily. Good boy, Mac!

We have a new denizen at the Black Dog Acre 😁 Angus is semi retired now, he only goes to work when he tells me and gets tired faster. Molly goes but isn't enthusiastic about it. So with Syd going to his home soon, it was time to add a young one to my own pack.

Meet Mac Dubh 😍 He's 5 months old, lab x probably border Collie. Which is my favorite cross He came from a high kill shelter just with of here and is a perfect addition to the BDA.

What a fun class this morning! Lots of dogs and the newer ones are stepping right up! This was their first experience with sending the dog somewhere. Go to your spot was a big hit, everyone sees the value in this one! This is Syd working with Ian's mom Debbie. She hasn't handled him a lot but is gaining in confidence herself. This is lovely work right here 😎

First lesson with 4 puppies and their people tonight 😍 I love the first lesson, when they see what is possible and their dog actually settles for probably the first time. Of course I told the story about Jerry thinking Larry was drugged that first day 😁. All 4 under 7 months, this is going to be fun! Mary will have photos, I was too busy talking.

Tonight CB and his mom has their first lesson. He's a bit reactive and ball obsessed. Denise came back from this jaunt almost in tears, she'd never been able to walk him past other dogs without a fight. They are going to have so much more fun together!

Waiting and recalls through the group. This was Syd's first go at this in the group and, he got up at the end but did wait. He's doing great for a young guy 😎
