Dog Warden was here!! I got approved and can start boarding this weekend!!
When dropping off for boarding please remember to have Vet proof of flea treatment, Rabies, Distemper and Kennel cough! Something new the wardens are trying to do is get kennels to have copy of dogs county or life time license number, so will need that too if you have it!

I had the pleasure of meeting 2 Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix siblings today!
Heidi is 8 years old and 150lbs
Heidi took about 4 hours!
Methuselah is 3 years old and 140lbs
Methuselah took about 3 hours!
They both got bathed, teeth polished, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, brushed, blowout and some small mats removed!

Mr. Jaxx!! He got a bath, blowout, teeth brushed, ears cleaned and nails trimmed. Took just under 2 hours! His momma also set up his next nail trim appointment!

I spoke to Harrisburg again today, they final found my application (having it since May 30th) and have turned my kennel over to the Warden. Now another waiting game on where am I on their waiting list for my final inspection! Hopefully it will be this coming week. The guy said after my inspection then the Warden sends my application back to Harrisburg with Approval or non approval.
(🤞 Approval!) With approval I then have to wait for the license to be mailed to me. He did give me my license number so hopefully I can board ASAP after inspection and hopefully not have to wait for it to come in the mail! Definitely a question I will be asking the Warden!

Milo came in today for a bath and nail trimming! His mom also let me practice my shave down on him!! I only shaved his body, legs,paws and cleaned up his eyes. I did not shave/cut his head or tail!
Took just over 2 1/2 hours!

I don't have a driveway yet, so you will have to drive through my yard.
Enter into my main driveway, turn right and pass Joe's Garage, head towards the grassy area with a slight left turn and throught the yard to my building!
Use caution and watch your footing at my building, still outside work being done and un level ground.

Got some good news!! I finally can start doing baths and nail trims. Although my driveway/parking area is not put in yet, you will have to drive through my yard to get to my building!
I will be getting in touch with those that have contacted me already and are on my list! Thank you for being patient!
I am still waiting on my kennel inspection. I did call this morning to see where I was on the list and was told I should be getting a call this Thursday. 🤞
I do have a credit card machine to run cards but just a heads up, it does charge an extra 3% for credit card fee.
Bathing and Nail Trims will have tax also added to price.
When I get to board, there is no tax for boarding. (Just ccf if paying with a card)
Please bare with me as I learn and navigate how to schedule and adjust my time with scheduling!!

This will be the Bathing consent form that will be filled out at drop off!
You will have to have Veterinary proof of name brand flea/tick treatment and vaccines Rabies, Distemper and Kennel cough. (Lyme is recommended but not required)
Owners are welcome to stay, if only coming in for a nail trim.
Owners are Not welcome to stay if pet is being brought in for a bath. Our furry kids act much better for others if owner is not around. We want the pet to have their attention on us and not the owner. It may also take hours for the process of the bath. Owners will be called as soon as their furry baby is done. If there is an issue of anxiety from the pet and the bather feels they could get the job done better with the owner here, then the owner will be called immediately.

Unfortunately I am still waiting on my final inspection from a warden for my kennel license. Not sure how long it will be before they send one.
I am also still waiting for my sales tax number. Which was supposed to be done last week. As soon as I get that, I will be setting up baths and nail trims!
