Absolutely heartbreaking. So proud of what your rescue has become.

Do You Know Rescue ...

Do you know ... we wake up each day with a broken heart ...

Do you know ... what it takes to be such a person to endure the pain we go through mentally , emotionally, and physically... the loss... the heartbreak...

Do you know ...what all it involves to be a rescue ....

Do you know... the costs out of pocket and lack of support from the community ....

Do you know... the time missed out with family , loved ones, gatherings, holidays, funerals... for loved ones ...

Do you know... the lack of consideration by those who only want to infect you with their poisonous negativity...

Do you know ... the challenges faced daily, minute by minute never knowing what horror the next moment may hold

Do you know ... the exhaustion of the endless days and nights rescues endure

Do you know... how many people's burdens are dumped on a rescue because people think its THE RESCUERS responsibility to take them on...

Do you know... the animal laws and the system in louisiana is not set up to protect our fur babies

Do you know .... that rescues are met with daily opposition from the very communities they are trying to serve ...

Do you know... rescues didn't choose this life ...this life chose them ...

Do you know... Do you know... Do you know....

because we didn't know...

but now that we know.....

we stand here with a fire in our chest and a lump in our throat trying to let you know....

HEAR....what THE FUR BABIES are saying...

Did you know ... i would end up dumped in the woods because my momma wasn't spayed ...

Did you know.... i'd end up run over by a car because my humans wouldn't provide me a yard or a leash

Did you know ... I'd die this slow, painful death from heartworm disease because YOU didn't provide heartworm prevention

Did you know ... you were the last thought that crossed my mind as i took my last breath ...

Did you know... how much i loved you

and.... do you know how much i will miss you ??????

Please understand that “ my pet deserves more time than I have to give it” is not going to find it in an Animal Shelter- PLEASE- do all you can to keep your pet. Reach out - we may be able to help with advice- food- encouragement- sadly there is just NO Room! 💔

I am getting a lot of requests to go to South Florida leaving from the Houston Tx or DFW area. How many need this transport. I will put one together if we can come together to keep cost down. (Video of our adoptable dogs.)
