❤️ What is Equine Assisted Learning?
A method that uses horses, the horse environment, and interactions with the horse/horse behavior which is then applied to help a person relate the observations to their own life, relationships, skill building, goal setting and more.

💎 Now what is Faith Based Equine Assisted Philosophy?
In Faith Based EAP we use some of the same EAL methods but we also apply the Word or God and we invite the Holy Spirit to be our facilitator. The Word of God contains the instructions for living in God's fullness. We find Truth in the Word and the herd and in that we find rest and freedom.

"And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" Matthew 28:20 While Mother's Day is a joyful day to celebrate those that gave life to us, for some, it is also a difficult day. For those that have lost a mother or those mothers that have lost a child and for mothers that are hurting from painful relationships and so much more. Horses, like us desire companionship, in fact their safety depends on it. So it is true for us that our ability to heal around others is crucial. This Mother's Day, know that you are not alone in this life, regardless of your current circumstances. When we invite a relationship with Jesus into our lives, we gain a friend who is closer than a brother. He has a plan for our lives and it is a good one. Let God fill in the broken pieces by accepting His great love. Diamond and Ruby (shown in picture) started off broken, but today they have a bond like no other. From all of us at Diamonds and Rubies Ranch, Happy Mother's Day to all of the beautiful mothers that gave life today.

Today was a happy moment and a teachable one. Normally Sapphire did not like being caught and would often walk away when entering her paddock. Today we made progress and she followed along side of me for about an hour. I achieved this with her by focusing on pressure and alternating walking towards her and away from her based on her body language. So is true with God!!! He won't force us to love Him because it wouldn't be real love or do us any good. Just like forcing a horse to be caught will lead to mistrust and a broken relationship. God will instead allow pressure in our lives to move us closer to Him. Sometimes these allowable pressures become quite uncomfortable but the reward is so great because we then experience an unconditional love from our heavenly father. Today be thankful for the pressure because it will lead to a relationship where you will follow Him because you want to, not because you have to. Thank you Sapphire for this teachable moment, through the herd and the word.
