Please read & share🙏🏽 3 years ago Moonlight came into our care at just 10 days old with his mom and brother and sister. He was an extremely sweet & confident kitten💗

His currently family describes him an an indoor cat who is energetic and vigilant loving to play with feather wands. He enjoys chasing after various types of balls and toy mice. Above all, his greatest passion in life is feeding time!

He is a dominant cat however and plays rough. They have a small child in their home and are no longer comfortable with him around her moving forward. He is currently on fluoxetine & gabapentin to help with some of his dominant behaviors. They do feel this has helped on the bright side!

Moonlight would do well with an experienced cat owner who can actively play with him and love him to pieces. He truly deserves that and for his next home to be his last. The other cat in the home is stressed by him so they think a home without other cats or possibly a rowdy young male to play with. He was exposed to our dogs at a young age but it’s been several years now since he’s lived with them so we’re unsure how he would do now to say for certain.

He is FeLV/Fiv negative, microchipped, neutered, fleas and worm free, and vaccinated.

Huge shout out to our girl, Suzi for orchestrating all this.🎉 it’s truly a group effort & the animals are so grateful for everyone coming together.

Fluffy used to be a home cat until his family abandoned him ,i rescued him from the street as he was beaten by street cats and that lead him to lose his vision in his left eye he also had severe pneumonia he is now a very sweet , cuddly playful cat who will shower u with love &hugs he is now looking for a loving family to adopt him

*fiv is not the same as FeLV. Fiv is only spread through a deep bite wound. He is not a biter or a fighter and gets along well with other cats so it wouldn’t be spread. Fiv cats can still live a normal lifespan as well*

Omg crayon and backpack are still waiting!!!!🥺🥺 these sweethearts came to us months ago we had everyone vetted and went to one of a kind for a better chance at adoption please share them!! FeLV+ angels!!!

When a kitten is born with FeLV, they have a high probability of having a short life. It is possible you will be one of the lucky ones and spend a few years with them, but it's also good to be prepared. We are looking for someone that has the heart to love them anyway. This is Backpack (brown tabby male) and Crayon (torbie female) and they are brother and sister. They've never been apart, so we are bonding them are requiring they are adopted together. We want you to know that right now, they are doing perfectly fine. They romp around with each other and love playing with toys. Backpack is the more social one while Crayon will flop over for belly rubs if you give her some love. They've already spent 7 months waiting. It's been long enough. They should not live out their lives here. They can live with dogs and other FeLV+ cats.

This sweet babe was dropped off at my camp (very pregnant). I nurtured her and she came and went as she pleased from my camper. Winter, I moved her to a foster home, as she was nursing kittens. Rehomed the kittens with people I knew personally, and have been trying to do the same with her, without much luck.

I call her Cleo-
She is extremely affectionate! Very talkative, with eyes that stare into your soul”

This is coming around fast!! We’re just 1 month away from our first ever Valentine's Sock Hop Fundraiser at Westside Bowl!!!! I’m starting to sell tickets in hopes to get an idea how many people we can expect!! It’s just a $10 donation that will go back to Empathy For Animals veterinary expenses and the Handicapped Pets Foundation!!

We’re going to have a DJ, band, basket raffle, several awesome vendors thanks to my friend Suzi working her butt off for this!!

Urgent courtesy post please share!🥺 this extremely sweet 9 year old CH (cerebellar hypoplasia) cat has found herself in search of a new home as her mom is coming out of an abusive marriage and can not take her where she’s going.

She’s spayed, uses p*e pads and is good with dogs! Cats she would likely need slow intros with and small children make her nervous.

If interested please reach out and we’ll get you in contact with her owner! She tried to surrender to her humane society and they said they would have to euthanize the cat.

Sonny (Sunshine) & Joi (Sophie) made it all the way to their forever homes in Ohio from Kuwait after waiting months on months in a crowded shelter!✈️ these two sweethearts are so full of love and have their best lives ahead of them! They’re truly the gift that keeps on giving and we couldn’t be more excited for their families this holiday season! 🎁 thank you for choosing to adopt!🩷
