Meet Sunshine 🌞

8 months ago this sweet boy was rescued from a busy road in Kuwait, seconds away from being run over by cars. He was extremely matted and neglected. Needless to say, he was so happy to be rescued.

Sunshine is described to be among the sweetest, kindest, friendliest dogs icarekuwait has ever rescued. He loves people and is great at meeting strangers. He loves running on green grass and being on our field at the shelter. He was also fostered by a kind woman for 4 months and he did excellent in the house. Sunshine is leash trained and potty trained.

He is good with other dogs, cats and has met an 8 year old child and done well. He is 3 years old, 18 lbs and fully vetted. He would do great with an active family who’d love to take him on walks.

He will be arriving the day after Thanksgiving and ready to go home. His adoption fee is $300.

We have two very special dogs that will be making their way here from Kuwait that have been saved from some form of neglect, abuse or abandonment. The first is Sophie💗

They do not have the same chance at finding forever homes there as we do here so she’s been waiting in their overcrowded shelter for nearly a year now.

She’s a little under 3 years old, 20 lbs, fully vetted, good with both dogs, cats and has met an 8 year old child and done very well. She would be happy in a home with other dogs or someone who can be home more often than not to spend time with her.

Her personality is described as: “ bubbly, playful, loves to relax on the grass, loves treats. She is one of the sweetest rescue dogs we have. She has never been aggressive to any dogs or humans. She is very good with other dogs regardless of their size. She does not like to be left alone much.”

Introducing November!🧡

This boy is such a sweetheart, always rolling around for love🥹 he’s also cat friendly!! Nimbus and November didn’t know eachother before foster but are getting along wonderfully and will adjust easily to new cat friends in their forever homes.

Wow! What an incredible weekend for adoptions!!! We are sooo so grateful our babies found the amazing homes that they did this weekend!❤️🥹 we are gearing up to take in our next fosters and with that being said we could use your help raising funds for their veterinary care! It’s been a WHOLE YEAR since we’ve had our donate button and we are truly so thankful to have it back. Our donations slowed tremendously without it and it’s genuinely a blessing to have this capability again.

We could not have dreamt of a more perfect fit for our sweet Fluffy🥹 it was truly a match made in heaven. He started playing and having the best time as soon as he got together with his new brothers! We’re so happy for this family and Fluffy (now Walter)! Happy adoption day buddy❤️

October is National Pitbull awareness month!! 🐾

These are our three resident pitties: Layla, Mario and Taco! We hope that they are able to be wonderful advocates to change the negative perception and dispel myths about the breed. They are extremely friendly, loving, loyal and eager to please dogs! They are truly man’s best friend. They know when something’s wrong and are always there by our side to show us comfort.

We believe they should be celebrated and we can only hope others will give them a chance at loving homes!! Our two babies were adopted from the Mahoning County Dog Warden and the other from down in Texas when his daddy lived there.
