So, I get how much you love your dog/cat. It was always so hard for me to find a sitter I trusted..... I am a true lifelong animal lover and advocate. I've taken time off from my career to do what I love-work with animals. I started volunteering 15+ years ago at Animal Haven in Queens before moving to the Yonkers animal shelter volunteer program. I walked the dogs, held the cats, played with them, and tried to give them at least some love as their lives were in small cages and they had no one. Years ago I adopted a pitbull named Rusty, after trying for a year to find him a home. He was like my child. I also adopted 2 cats, and guinea pigs. To give you an idea of how much I love animals, I have been a vegetarian for 20+ years and have never even killed a bug, except if it would hurt my children (pets included!) I know I am good at this, and am pouring my heart into this passion. My kids are gone from 8:00-3:00. Your pet will be minded by me entirely during the day, and evening, and the kids will love to play/pet/talk to your baby when they get home. I am hoping to create meaningful bonds with families. I know the peace of mind you will have with me will be priceless. Between walks I have a large yard, partially fenced, where we can play with a ball or just get some air. I love walking dogs at the Peekskill and Croton waterfront. We live in a quiet neighborhood. I am prepared to send you as many pics and videos as you want during the visit (really!). My home is equipped with dog beds, toys, a kennel cage (if your dog sleeps in one), and all necessities for cat care as well. Also, at night, we dim the lights, put on Enya and I give a long, loving massage to your baby. What are some of the special things that your pet likes? What can I do to help you and your pets have a great experience? The pet needs to be able to be with children, and have no history of biting. I also need to know if your pet likes other animals, or would prefer to be alone. And finally, vet information for emergencies.
