Meet Hampton, a 7-year-old wooly Husky with a heart as warm as her fluffy coat 💙She’s full of energy and plays with her siblings like a pup, often rolling on the ground with her paws in the air just for fun 🐾 Her signature move? A happy Husky “tap-dance” to greet you at the door...full of bounce, wiggles, and pure joy! When she was adopted last year from a city apartment, it was unsure how she’d handle country living. But her Husky instincts kicked right in! Now she roams the yard like she’s always belonged... a true country girl through and through 🏡

We're celebrating Halloween 👻 with Taconic Veterinary Center’s Pet of the Week, Tank, who is full of treats 🍭 not tricks!

Tank is a 6-year-old American Bulldog/Boxer mix with a bark that’ll make your hair stand on end until you realize he’s really just a treat-loving goofball! His favorite “trick”? Convincing the UPS driver to hand over extra snacks 🍬 His favorite “treat”? Anything! So, if you hear a spooky bark echoing down the street this Halloween 🎃 don’t be afraid... it’s just Tank, spreading love (and drool) to all who dare to approach his lair! 🏡 💚

Keep the spooky season fun and safe for your furry friends!

👻 1. Keep Candy Away
Chocolate, xylitol, and other sweets can be toxic to pets. Store all treats out of reach!

🕯️ 2. Be Cautious with Decorations
Wires, candles, and small decorations can be dangerous if chewed or swallowed. Opt for battery candles when possible.

🚪 3. Secure a Quiet Space
Costumes and trick-or-treaters can be stressful! Give pets a calm room away from the door.

🦴 4. Watch the Costumes
If your pet wears a costume, ensure it fits comfortably, doesn’t restrict movement or breathing, and avoids dangling parts.

🐕 5. Keep Pets Indoors
Loud noises and open doors can lead to escapes. Always keep pets safe inside or supervised outdoors.

Fur-get Paris, it’s time to meet Taconic Veterinary Center’s Pet of the Week, Diesel!

Diesel is a three-month-old French Bulldog who’s already mastered the art of fun! He loves to run, chase his toys, and hop around the yard like a little bunny 🐰 His playful energy is contagious, and it’s impossible not to smile when he’s around. When Diesel isn’t busy perfecting his “bunny hop,” he’s charming everyone he meets with his big personality and even bigger heart 💙 This little guy proves that joy really does come in small packages 🎁🐾
