The Pumpkin and squash rows are all in. About 2 weeks late this spring but we should be ready in plenty of time for the fall. !! Sunflowers are next!!

If anyone is looking for potatoes we still have some. We have reds and yellows in 5 10 and 20 pound bags. Grown right here in Corvallis on our farm. No pesticides or herbicides sprayed .
We have a few hundred pounds left so stock up for the winter $1 a pound this week.

With the cold weather rolling in we have closed the u-pick patch for the year. Thank you to everyone that visited our farm. We have so much fun watching everyone hunt for just the right pumpkin. If you still in need of some pumpkins for fall decorations we went through the field today and picked a good supply to stash in the greenhouses. We still have big and medium size Jack o Lantern pumpkins, pastel and orange stacking pumpkins and some of our new this year “Corn Cob” pumpkins. “Cleaning up the field prices “ are below. As of now please message to set up a time to come grab some.

Open today Noon to 5. Saturday and Sunday 9/5. We will have half bushel baskets of green tomatoes and a couple baskets that are just short of ripe. They have about 22 to 23 pounds in them. They will be marked $20 a basket.
Also we are stocked on potatoes. Reds/whites and yellows 5 # pound bags are $7 # bags are $12 and 20 # bags are$22.

Mention you saw this on Facebook and will bring the price down on the green tomatoes to $15 and the potatoes will be down to $1 a pound no matter what size bag you get. Hope everyone can make it out on the last weekend for the pumpkin patch.

It’s looking like this may be our last weekend for the the pumpkin patch. We will be open Noon to 5pm Friday October 20. 9 am to 5pm Saturday October 21 and 9 am to 5 pm Sunday October 22nd. We will have plenty of Potatoes , the very last of our tomatoes ( We will have some 1/2 bushels of green tomatoes for $15 ) . Pie pumpkins are $3 each or 2 for $5.

We are digging potatoes today and will be restocked for the weekend. There will be 5, 10 and 20 pound bags of Reds Whites and Yellows ( our Huckleberry Golds are all gone.)

If you are coming to see us at the pumpkin patch don’t forget to swing into Frost Top orchard for apples and Cider. And then check out swallowtail flower farm just to the south of the orchard. It’s beautiful day to check out the local farms!!!!

If you are coming out to pick pumpkins on this Beautiful weekend we recommend close toed shoes and long pants. Pumpkin vines can be kind of prickly and there are rocks and trip hazards out in the field. Penny hopes you all have a Wonderful Day!!

This weekend is forecasted to be Beautiful!! Come on out to the farm and get those pumpkins. Saturday and Sunday 9/5. We have regular Jack o lantern pumpkins from a couple pounds up to 50plus! Cinderella types both orange and pastel color. Warty pumpkins, large pink hued squash and what seems to be everyone’s favorite this year the Carmel colored warty pumpkins!! The largest pumpkin in the patch you can find won’t be anymore then $20. We will have Honey, jams and Jelly’s and our family recipe pasta sauce available also. The sunflowers are still in bloom and we have a couple spots set up for your family photos. Follow the orange pumpkin signs from the Eastside highway to the Farm on Nordheim Lane in Corvallis.

We are open today!!! Brave to cold and pick out your pumpkins!! Maybe grab a jar of our family recipe homemade spaghetti sauce ( quart jars of homemade sauce have 0 preservatives and are waterbath canned) made with our heirloom tomatoes, onions and Basil. After sitting in the cold all day yesterday we used some to make a lasagna ( homemade sauce, elk burger, ricotta, noodles , mozzarella…. You get the idea!!)

I know the weather is wet today , but the patch is open. Throw on that rain coat and boots and come take a look. There are plenty of great pumpkins to pick from. We are open Saturday and Sunday 9 to 5 from now till Halloween!

We had a very busy weekend on the farm!!! Here is a cart load that went home with one Happy Picker!!. We will be open again tomorrow and then closed Wednesday Thursday and Friday . But back open again Saturday and Sunday. With over 1000 plants in the ground this year we have lots of great pumpkins to pick from!!!

We are glad we postponed opening untill Saturday. Today does not look the weather will be very good, BUT this weekend should a be a great day to pick out those special pumpkins!!! The patch will be open 9/5 both Saturday and Sunday and again Monday and Tuesday.

Quick update!!!!! With what looks
Like a good rain coming in Thursday we are going to delay opening the Pumpkin Patch untill Saturday Morning at 9 am. It hasn’t really rained for awhile and it has to on our planned first Day?? If you can make it on the weekend We are going to be open Monday and Tuesday the 25th and 26th.
Please pass this along to anyone you know that was thinking of coming Thursday!
