The 1/13 ship date has been canceled and tentatively moved to next week, Tuesday 1/21.

The severe weather all over the US, and the fires in LA county are severely impacting delivery. Even areas that are not affected directly are experiencing delays from the system as a whole. I shipped 3 boxes overnight last week, to areas not affected by the fires or with any severe weather alerts, and all of them are still in transit days later. And this is with the fastest method available. With the current USPS service alerts I cannot in good conscience send out 130+ fish into transit this week.

We will be re-assessing for next week and will ship out 1/21 (Tuesday due to the Monday holiday) if we believe it is safe to do so. Please bear with us with the severe weather, we are just trying to make sure all of our fish arrive to you guys safely ❤️

I will even make you guys some free betta stickers to go into the orders as a thank you for your patience. ❤️🐠

First restock of the year! Saturday 1/11 at 12pm PST. Next ship date is Monday 1/13, and we are still using 120hr heat packs with USPS shipping, 72hr on overnight for extra precaution. Please check your weather before ordering as well ❤️

Please also note this is the first restock where we will have some new betta collection listings! These are popular types of bettas sold under a more general listings. They will have sample images and allow you to order the tail type and color you would like, just not the exact fish. There will always be some pattern and color variations, but the samples will be accurate representation of the variety you could be shipped. They are also cheaper due to the reduced labor that photography normally takes. Same grade as our WYSIWYG fish.

New year shipping: we have opened USPS Priority early this year! Because of Christmas AND New Years falling on a Wednesday we cannot ship live fish again until 1/6. We will be allowing USPS priority (weather permitting) on this date with some modification. We will be using 120 hr heat packs in all USPS boxes this week as a precaution for any delays, and 96 hr heat packs the following week. You will see a slight increase to the USPS shipping cost (only about $1) during this time to account for the more expensive and heavier heat packs. Overnight is still available as well and is strongly recommended when temps fall below freezing.

Since the next import order has been scheduled I opened up pre-sales for sorority groups! And I have a very limited number of giant sorority groups as well- just note they do need a larger aquarium.

Stocking is limited to 20 regular groups and 5 giant groups for shipping 1/13. More may be available after that for shipping later in Jan.

USPS is also OPEN again. You can order with priority or overnight shipping.

Hey guys! If you have a box that is delayed this week (USPS orders still in transit) please go to the USPS.com tracking page and select "delivery instructions". From there the receiver can sign in and route the box for pickup from a local USPS office. You can also call USPS and have this done as well.

Because heat packs can only last so long, delayed boxes should be prevented from being outside as much as possible! To ensure safe delivery of delayed packages in winter please switch to a pickup, or if not possible get the package off your porch ASAP.
