The doctors of Corvallis Cat Care combine the best of western and alternative medicine to provide comprehensive care. Alternative therapies and western treatments compliment each other and can be very helpful when used together. The combination is often called “Integrative Medicine.” Traditional diagnostic tools, such as X-rays and analyses of lab work, are used to help guide our doctors.

CAUTION! BIRD FLU IS STILL AROUND

A cat in San Francisco was euthanized after getting infected with H5N1 avian influenza, likely from consuming infected raw chicken. The virus was found in two lots of RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats, according to the FDA. Genetic sequencing showed that the H5N1 lineage in the food and the cat was one that had been circulating in birds and cattle in November and December.

Federal health officials are warning that certain lots of RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats may be contaminated with H5N1 bird flu.
