Looking for a companion who brings energy AND smarts? Bass is your guy! This almost 2-year-old Basenji is named after the fish, and he’s ready to swim right into your heart!

We took the evening to celebrate our buzzer be**er win last night and now we have our game faces on and we're pulling out all the stops.

It came down to the wire in our March Muttness matchup against Oahu SPCA, but as of 8pm we are officially in the excellent 8!

Looking for twice the purrs and cuddles? Meet our adorable bonded pair, BamBam and Ferguson! These sweet kitties are searching for a forever home TOGETHER.

🐱 BamBam (with the distinctive white stripe on her nose) is our chatty little social butterfly! This 4-year-old charmer has plenty to say and will keep you entertained with her playful antics when she’s not catching her beauty sleep.

🐱 Ferguson (sporting a handsome white muzzle) is BamBam’s protective big brother and partner in crime! These two are inseparable - whether they’re wrestling, grooming each other, or cuddled up for naptime.

Kittens Are Arriving at Heartland

Kitten Season has officially begun! Heartland is closed to the public, but our work with the animals continues. We need your help now more than ever. Make a donation today or shop items from our Kitten Season Wish List. Make sure to include your contact information in the gift receipt so that we can thank you. Monetary and in-kind donations are tax deductible.

Heartland has already received our first litters of bottle babies. These newborns went straight to foster homes where they will receive critical nutrition and socialization until they are old enough to be in the shelter. Heartland remains an open intake shelter for animals in Benton County. If you find kittens, please wait before moving them (mother may be hiding close by). If you suspect they are without a mother cat, please email us for next steps: [email protected].
