Jupiter and Saturn 🪐💖

The transformation this bonded pair has gone through is out of this world! 🌍 Jupiter (grey) and Saturn (cream) came to us as strays in late September and they were incredibly shy, wanting to hide. Our medical team caught that they had ringworm as well as some intestinal parasites so treatment began immediately.

It took time, love, and lots of cleaning 🧼 But now this sweet pair is ringworm and parasite free and are now searching for their forever home!

They may still be a little shy when you first meet them, but through time and patience they are the sweetest little furballs who are out of this world! 💫

Happy Foster Friday from Pepper Jack and Mama Cheeseburger 🧀🍔

Pepper Jack is a 1-year-old mixed breed, large dog who came to Heartland in the beginning of September and is STILL looking for his forever home. He is such a big-hearted boy who loves a good snuggle. His dedicated foster home is AMAZING and is helping this young man turn into an amazing dog. Could his new home be with you? 💛

Mama Cheeseburger is not currently available for adoption as she is still raising her kittens, Ketchup and Mustard. She is making friends her with foster doggy sister and being an incredible mama. Look out for when this sweet girl is ready for her new home! ❤️

🖤 Diesel (now Gurdy) is a much valued member of his family. He’s loving playing with tennis balls and even has an older brother now!

🤎 Stella has been a dream pup for her adopter! They say that she has been fantastic, easy to train, loves others, and is an excellent relaxing buddy.

🐾 Kumquat (now Creeya, the phonetic spelling for “little heart” in Gaelic) is loving her life playing with the little girl in her family. She hit the jackpot with them!

Happy Friday from Talia! 🧡

This gorgeous girl is currently in a foster home where she is receiving lots of love and pets, but now she’s on a search for her forever home! 🏡🫶

Talia’s foster family has given Talia a lot of firsts: Her first lickable treat and brushing. Two things that have quickly become a favorite of hers. She’s been steadily opening up in her foster home and becoming more confident about being included in a household. They have no doubt that, with patience, she may become a cuddly, lap cat. 🥰

This sweet girl also have her meal time rituals where before she eats she will press her head on her foster parents forearms until she receives at least five seconds of pets before she will eat. 🥹

This stunning 3.5-year-old yellow lab is looking for a family who can keep up with his BIG personality and even BIGGER heart!

If you want a dog who’s all-in on life, Jasper is your guy! He doesn’t do anything halfway. When he plays, he PLAYS. When he loves, he LOVES. And when he’s excited? Oh, you’ll know it because he’s not shy about sharing his feelings! 🗣️💕

Take Jasper outside and watch the real show begin! This water-loving, ball-chasing, run-everywhere kind of pup absolutely THRIVES in the yard. If your idea of a perfect day includes outdoor adventures, hiking, or just tossing a ball around, Jasper is going to be your dream companion! 🏕️💦

Meet some of our kitties searching for their forever homes! 🤍

🖤 Vinny is a 3-month-old little house panther. He’s a shy little boy who is looking for someone who will go slow and allow him to open up at his own pace. He likes to use his voice to try and talk with humans (the cutest little meow!).

(ADOPTED) 🩶 Fleasha is a little over 3 1/2 years old and just can’t wait to meet you! She previously came to Heartland with her kittens who are all in their new homes. Now she is ready for a home to call her own! She would love nothing more than an extra comfy spot on the couch where she can enjoy your company.

🤎 Rowdy is 4 years old and 25lbs of handsome! He needs a little bit of adjustment time in new environments, but once he does adjust he is the biggest cuddle bug! Take the time to visit him at Heartland and see her personality shine through.

🐾 Aswan came to Heartland with her brother Cairo as strays, so not much is known about this 5 month old’s background. But we have been able to see a sweet personality from Aswan. She absolutely loves her brother and would definitely benefit from having another social cat in the home. She may need some time to adjust to new environments, but once she does get ready for a companion for life.

Kittens Are Arriving at Heartland

Kitten Season has officially begun! Heartland is closed to the public, but our work with the animals continues. We need your help now more than ever. Make a donation today or shop items from our Kitten Season Wish List. Make sure to include your contact information in the gift receipt so that we can thank you. Monetary and in-kind donations are tax deductible.

Heartland has already received our first litters of bottle babies. These newborns went straight to foster homes where they will receive critical nutrition and socialization until they are old enough to be in the shelter. Heartland remains an open intake shelter for animals in Benton County. If you find kittens, please wait before moving them (mother may be hiding close by). If you suspect they are without a mother cat, please email us for next steps: [email protected].
