Matrix is a lively 9-year-old terrier who's on the lookout for his forever companion!

🏡 He’s a superstar when it comes to being house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. Plus, he knows a few fun tricks to impress you!

Matrix is great with kids 👧🧒, loves cats 🐈, and gets along well with other dogs 🐕. He just needs a little extra time to warm up to male dogs, but once he does, he’s friends with everyone!

🐾 Meet Trip – The Three-Legged Legend! 🐾

Looking for a dog who’s missing a leg but not a beat? 🦿 Meet Trip, a 6+ year-old German Shepherd mix who’s basically half dog, half superhero. 💥

Despite rocking a three-legged strut (his secret weapon, really), Trip’s got more energy than most dogs with all four limbs. Whether he’s zooming around the yard or showing off his pro-level fetch skills, Trip’s motto is: "Why walk when you can RUN?!" 🦸‍♂️

He's also a pro at hanging with kids and other dogs.

This goofy guy recently lost his beloved owner, but he's keeping his tail wagging while he searches for a new family. 🐕💨

Bring your reusable bags to cut waste and support local charities with Beans for Bags. After checkout, grab a Bean Token for each reusable bag or box you used to pack up your purchased groceries and drop them into the jars of the Owner-elected organization(s) you’d like to support.

This October-December, you have the choice of the Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center, Grace Center for Adult Day Services, Lumina Hospice, and Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon.

October is also when we hold our annual Beans for Bags election! The program supports the work of sixteen different Owner-elected community organizations (four per financial quarter) by dividing an annual $4,000 in donations between them in a proportion determined by our shoppers. This year, twenty-five candidate organizations are vying for those sixteen slots and it’s up to Owners to select who makes the cut.

🐾 Good news Friday! 🐾

We are beyond grateful to the Petfinder Foundation for awarding SDRO a senior pet adoption assistance grant for our sweet Suerte. Thanks to this support, we were able to highlight Suerte in a special way, and on September 11th, she found her perfect forever home! ❤️🏡

Her adoption story is a testament to the power of these grants, our amazing foster network, and the likes and shares you all give us - and we couldn't be more thankful. Thank you from all of us at at SDRO, and of course, Suerte. 🥰

🐾Friends, meet Molly! Part-time couch potato, full-time treat enthusiast. 🐾

Hi! I’m Molly, and even though I’m almost 9 years old, I’m basically a puppy in disguise. 55 pounds of pure joy, energy, and occasional silliness – that’s me! 🎉

I’m a black American Pit Bull/Terrier mix, and I still do a happy dance at mealtime. I mean, who can resist a good meal, right?🍗

I’m super smart – housebroken, leash-trained, and I can do all sorts of cool tricks like come, sit, lay down, stay, leave it, and off. I even tried my paw at agility training recently – I was basically an Olympic athlete in dog form. 🥇🐕 But my real talent? Couch cuddling! I’ll wrap myself up in a blanket like a burrito and snuggle with you all day. 💕🌯

Oh, and fetch? I’m all over it. Give me a stick, ball, or frisbee, and I’ll chase it down like it’s my life’s mission. Currently, I live with two other dogs, but one of them decided to get all food-aggressive on me, so I’m looking for a drama-free home where I can thrive. (No food fights, please! 🥊🍖) I’m great with kids, too, though I can get a bit excited, so supervision wouldn't be a bad idea.

Ideally, I’d love a place with a big yard where I can do zoomies to my heart’s content. 🏃‍♀️ And while I haven’t socialized much with other dogs, I think I’d be a great solo act or get along with a chill, more laid-back buddy. But when it comes to people, I’m ALL about spreading the love. ❤️

Let’s be real – I’m the total package. So if you’re looking for an active, goofy, and loving companion, I’m your girl! Let’s make forever happen! 🎉

🐾 Meet Pace: Your New Best Friend! 🐾

Hi there! I’m Pace, a 4-year-old handsome German Shepherd with a big heart and a playful spirit! 💙 If you're looking for a smart, loyal, and goofy companion, I’m your guy! 🎾 I love chasing balls and playing fetch—it’s one of my favorite things to do! I’m great with people and kids, making me the perfect family dog. I can be dog selective, but am currently loving spending time with my senior friend Nina (see post below!) *these two are not bonded. 🐶💕

I’m housetrained and know all the basics: sit, down, shake, stay—I'm even working on perfecting these skills outdoors! 🐕 I’m pretty good on the leash too, learning to heel, and I hardly pull anymore. Whether it's running around in a secure yard or lounging inside with you, I’m happy just being by your side. 😍 Plus, I’m crate trained and sleep comfortably in my crate at night.

Hi there, I’m Nina, a 12-year-old Alaskan Shepherd/Husky mix with plenty of love and energy to give! 💕 I may be a bit older, but I’m still full of life and joy. During the day, I love lounging around, taking naps, and hanging out with my favorite people. Oh, and I love being brushed! 🐶

I’m crate-trained, housetrained, and know basic commands (especially if treats are involved 😋). I’m great with kids and love my daily walks—twice a day for a mile is just perfect! But I’ll need a secure yard because I’m quite the escape artist when I check for routes.

While I’m a gentle soul, I’m not a fan of cats and prefer not to spend too much time outside alone. I promise to be your calm, wise companion, bringing endless love and joy into your life. 🥰

Suerte was rescued from the streets of Mexico, given medical attention for her skin condition and put on a healthy diet. She is now a happy, healthy dog ready for a new home! She is a lovable senior dog with a heart of gold and waiting for her forever home where she can share her gentle spirit and boundless affection. Meet Darwin! 🐾

Darwin is a 7-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer 🐕who is just adorable. He adores kids👧🏽🧒🏼, gets along with cats 🐈, and is all about having exciting adventures! 🌲While he hasn't had the opportunity to live with other dogs, he does great around them at the dog park. The only thing is, he's not a big fan of long car rides as they make him nervous, but once he's out, he's back to his happy self. 🐶He can't wait to find his new adventure buddy! 🐾😊
