Thanks everyone who participated in the Dressage and Working Equitation Clinic last weekend at Skyreach Equestrian Center and thanks Jude Kreiss for organizing it and riding in it and letting me ride your horse too!

I am honored to be able to come teach such wonderful riders at such a terrific facility and have such a good time hanging out too -- I almost forgot to go home!

Announcing a new partnership for the 2025 Working Equitation Competition Season: Emily Callihan and RedPrairie Storm (Dales Pony) ❤️

Emily has been hand walking (so many miles) and riding "Tyrion" for the last few months helping me to rehab him from a tendon injury. Last weekend they competed together for the first time and did absolutely super together at USAWE Introductory Level with scores in the 70s! They plan to move up as soon as his rehab schedule allows.

They are such a great team and Emily is figuring out how to manage his Naughty Pony moments 😆

Just earned 100% on my USAWE Rules Test for 2025 (a required exam to maintain USAWE Professional Instructor status) AND the sun just came out after the ice storm, the arena has thawed out AND it is still light enough to ride tonight 🐴 🎉 Hooray!

2025 looks to be an exciting year for Team Kimberlee with Nairobi, Ouro XVIII, and Gladheart Jory in the competition line-up!

Nairobi, 8 year old Lusitano gelding from Portugal, sired by the well known Lusitano dressage stallion Rubi.

Ouro XVIII, a 7 year old Lusitano gelding bred by George A. Martins of California and sired by Ruivo Da Broa (Veiga Line).

Gladheart Jory, a 10 year old Morgan mare sired by my favorite horse of all time, Gladheart Black Harris (aka Maus) of Gladheart Farm Morgan horses.

It’s time to officially introduce the latest addition to my team: Welcome Nairobi ❤️

Nairobi, recently arrived from Portugal, is an 8 year old Lusitano gelding, sired by the well known Lusitano dressage stallion Rubi. Nairobi was trained in Portugal by the talented Grand Prix Dressage competitor and trainer, Pedro Dias Ferreira (PDF Sporthorses).

You can look forward to seeing Nairobi (and me) in both USAWE, USDF and WAWE competitions this year. 🌟

Another Dressage Training Intensive here at my place! I had a wonderful two days helping Lillie and Irish. I am excited to be a part of the team helping this talented pair develop. I have seen such improvement since I last worked with them in October—kudos to Lillie (and support-team extraordinaires: parents Debbie and Ryan) and to Lillie's trainer, Rosey Paulson of In-Tune Eventing. Such good work!!!
