Oh my word! Breena finally took the plunge, and sent her big beautiful snowbaby, “Annie” off for training. She chose wisely with Chrissa Wright. Her mama’s being bred back to Mason this year. Can you imagine a buckskin Splash White, like Annie? 😊❤️⭐️🌺🦄❄️

A special congratulations to Madison Gray on her purchase of Two Mann Two (Buck). Madison and her mom Leah have had their eye on this special boy since the day he was born and we are so happy Buck is going to such a great home!

Two Mann Two is a 2023 Gelding by Two Eyed Snowbuck out of a Secure Future daughter.

Look for Madison and Two Man Two this year at the Buckskin shows. They’re going to be a great team!

Isn’t it strange how days can be a series of highs and lows? The excitement of bringing Mason home was tempered by the arrival of a Large halter that was worn on a beautiful, kind, head and some mane and tail hair to go along. And the tears come again……. ❤️😢❄️🦄

Our grief over losing Leon is a daily emotion…..but we needed to carry on our breeding business, and try our best to replace an irreplaceable horse. I was discouraged about the over priced, non breeding quality, stallions that I was finding in my search……and THEN, I saw “Mason”! Welcome to Gentle Oaks……”Made A Splashed One”! He’s an AQHA and APHA registered Cremello/Overo…..and for my Arabian friends……he’s already Sweepstakes nominated!!! We’re so excited about him…….another gentle, and kind boy! He’ll hopefully be home within the week, and we’ll be standing him at an incentive, private treaty, as well as breeding a few of our own mares…….Arabian and APHA, so we will have a 2024 foal crop in Oregon! We look forward to visitors, and I’ll be posting some of his foals, soon, as well as some of the great horses in his pedigree. Thank you Rebecca Sutton for allowing us to make Mason our own, and bring him home to Gentle Oaks to start a new chapter for him, and for us. ❤️😊💦

Today I had to make the impossible decision to leave my big, gentle giant, sleeping on the table. He had a badly placed lipoma and it tangled in mesentery, cut off blood supply. It wasn’t repairable. Thank you to my super friend Mrs. Loeschen for being there to support me through it. And an extra special thank you to Dr. Sera Moran for helping us medicate Leon enough to eventually get him to the trailer to transport him. Hauling a 1,300 lb acutely painful horse, loose in a trailer, is quite a trip, literally. Hug those Snowbabies tight……they’re treasures. Rest in peace sweet boy……. 😢❤️❄️🦄
