Hello everyone,
I am writing to give you an update. Harper and Clue have successfully been bred. Please note that this is not a guarantee of pregnancy, but we are hopeful!

As a reminder these puppies are standard sized Australian Shepherds. Parents come from working lines.

Please keep in mind the following estimated dates:
Due Date: February 4th, 2025
Visitation Day: March 9th, 2025
Go-Home Day: April 1st, 2025 (this date could be one week prior or one week later, depending
on when puppies are born)

What is next?
We wait! Dogs are pregnant for only 9 weeks and oftentimes we cannot determine if there is a
viable pregnancy until the due date draws near. I will keep you updated once we can confirm if
the mom is pregnant or not. So now the hard part... we have to just wait!

As an owner of a couple anxious dogs myself, I will share this every year.

Quick PSA: During the Fourth of July holiday, and the days leading it up to it when folks start celebrating with noisy fireworks, scores of pets run away from the sights and sounds, making the day after Independence Day the busiest of the year for animal hospitals and shelters. Please do your due diligence. And if you feel as though your pet may need medication to help them relax during firework season, now is the time to speak with your veterinarian!

Shared from another breeder. It is good to see other breeders warning about certain preventatives.

It can be confusing as many of these medications are in the same drug class but the difference is in the active ingredients which may not be tolerated by all dogs. Because we don’t know which dogs will have a negative reaction, we recommend only using the ones which our parent dogs have done well on. 🐾

Happy Monday! 🐾
If your puppy bolts out into traffic, assess the situation quickly. Calling them might be fatal because you may be asking them to run back into traffic.

If you encounter an aggressive dog, this recall could be great, or it could trigger the aggressive dog to chase (a long down stay might be best in this situation). Again, assess and use your best judgement.

Step it up and practice this command with a long drag line (20 plus feet) and take them out in a high distraction area. When they are not focused on you, call “puppy puppy puppy”. If they don’t come? Reel them in and keep calling them. Remember to only be positive and happy (even if you are frustrated and have to reel them in). Give them lots of praise and a treat when they reach you. Let them go back out and explore and place and repeat a few times. Coming to you should always be positive and safe!

Puppies younger than six-weeks-old still retain some of their mother’s antibodies but the highest susceptibility window for parvo is six weeks to six months.

Symptoms include: lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, severe, often bloody, diarrhea, abdominal pain and bloating, fever or low body temperature (hypothermia)

🐾P U P D A T E🐾

We’ve been plenty busy with little Teddy! He’s quite the energized little pup! We gave Teddy his first warm weather hair cut today and he behaved very well! He can be a handful sometimes but we still love his loyalty (and obviously how adorable he is!🥰🐶) We don’t have Facebook but thought the adoption process went very smoothly. He has been a great addition to our family and we couldn’t be more grateful! ☺️

Love hearing from our puppy families! Can’t wait to see more updates! 🥰

This handsome fluffy boy is the last one from his litter born on June 18th who is still looking for his forever family! Hank is a black and white parti bernedoodle puppy, located in Coshocton Ohio. He is up to date on vaccines and has been raised with lots of socialization, grooming, and love! He is reduced in price for pet only, to help him find his family in time for Christmas! Contact me!

⚠️ Warning ⚠️
regarding the Christmas treats many stores are now stocked up on for dogs.

Many of these so called treats end up with the dog "enjoying" some time, and few thousands dollars gone, at the emergency Vet doing surgery over Christmas.

The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China!!!!

The chews are made from cattle or horse hides and their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.
On testing, these chews have shown traces of arsenic, mercury, chromium and formaldehyde.

If that wasn't bad enough, they regularly cause intestinal blockages, poisoning from chemical residue and choking.
The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

Leave them in the shop where they belong or if some well meaning person buys them for your dog put them safely away for later, then dispatch in the garbage (please DO NOT Regift)

Please be safe with your dogs!
