With all of the snow we've had so far this year, remember pet safety around your ice melt granules! Most ice melts will irritate the skin and pawpads and can be toxic if ingested! Lots of animals think this salty substance is tasty and will eat it off of the ground, out of the packaging, or even lick it off of their paws (especially cats!).

To protect your pet, only purchase ice melt labelled as "pet safe." Keep all packaging away from pets. Supervise your pets while they are outside and make sure they aren't licking sidewalks, roads, or vehicles. If your pet regularly walks on public roadways or treated sidewalks, clean their feet with soap and water after their walk or have them wear snow booties. Regular bathing and grooming will help prevent skin irritation and ingestion via licking.

Hi, everybody! We're doing a pet supply drive in cooperation with other local groomers to benefit Coshocton Animal Shelter. Intakes are high right now at the shelter, and the volunteers there are working incredibly hard to improve the lives of every pet they encounter. Our shelter is non-profit and open-admission, which is incredibly rare and valuable in our area. They do an enormous amount of free labor to reduce animal suffering for our county. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, let's show our gratitude for our rescue workers by helping them provide for the lost and abandoned pets of Coshocton County.

Please bring all donations to Gabby's at 240 Main Street in Coshocton.

Just got our new fur length sample charts! This will help customers make educated decisions on hair lengths for their dogs as well as timing between appointments! The easiest way to save money on dog grooming is to brush between appointments. How often you need to brush, and what tool you should use, depends on how long your dog's fur is!

Brushing appropriately for hair length = less frequent grooming appointments and no matting fees! ^_^

Not brushing your fluffy dog = Matting fees or even a full shavedown at your next appointment :(
