Many people have asked us...

"what made you choose this path?"

"Is is difficult being surrounded by tragedy in your profession?"

It's true.. what we do can be dark at times. The moments we witness are not easy.. in fact, they often lead us to hold our own families and pets extra tight.

But we know in our hearts this is where we are meant to be - helping people through some of life's deepest tragedies. We have each been given a unique gift to love people through it. That alone is the most soul-filling aspect of what we do.

At the end of the day, we rest our heads knowing that your family feels supported, understood, well-informed, and heard.

Are you familiar with the dangers of Xylitol?
Xylitol poisoning is real and scary because of how quickly the symptoms begin, which is within 20 minutes of ingestion in most cases.

Symptoms include:
➡️ Vomiting
➡️ Decreased activity level
➡️ Weakness/Collapsing
➡️ Difficulty walking/standing
➡️ Shaking or seizures
➡️ Coma
➡️ Liver failure
If you believe your dog may have ingested xylitol, call the nearest emergency animal clinic or animal poison control center. 📞 (855-764-7661)

Anticipatory grief... for those of us who have older pets, we know this feeling all too well.
How do you handle it? How do you explain it to your little ones... this subject is a tough one.

We encourage you to do what makes the most sense for your family and your beliefs.
Most will talk to their children about the Rainbow Bridge, and what it means when pets get the opportunity to cross it. ❤️

Did your curious pet get a little too close? 🦨

Don't panic!

Mix together:
1 quart of hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup of baking soda
1 teaspoon dish soap

Wearing rubber gloves, apply this mixture to your pet immediately after they were sprayed, scrub, and rinse.
Then, follow up with a regular pet shampoo, scrub and rinse. 🙌🏻

It's that simple! Save this post for later -- just in case! 😅
