This week we welcomed Cisco, a 8 month old Gyosy Vanner c**t from RNR Gyosy Vanners and Elaine is now the new owner! Cisco is starting his baby basic foundation with us and he will be on our show string this year!!!

A decision was made here… A decision to take a break, try again, or just sit in a puddle and cry hysterically because I wasn’t done. The ramp is ice, I can’t load the wheelbarrow up to full capacity because I can’t make it up the dang ramp.
The tractor got stuck twice, even with Ty home from school because of ice on the roads. And yet we love this life??? Maybe not all the time. And so, I went and got lunch with Ty, had some laughs, finally got warm, and I will try again.

Cuddled up in the house with the dogs today. I don’t work horses when it is under 20 degrees, so enjoying my time in the warmth. With an outdoor arena and snow, under 20 is to hard to properly warm up and cool down a riding horse (for me)

Saddling Fancy today and Sassy was terrified of my new white camo outfit! 🤣 Freezing temps made for unique clothing choices today!

Last week we welcomed Miss Fancy from Tea Mountain Gyosy Vanners for some saddle training! I love Fancy’s expressions and willingness to try!

When people ask me why Skippy isn’t for sale….Ty was almost 3 years old the first time he and skippy stepped into the show pen together. And Skippy never missed a beat. These two have grown such a bond and Skippy have kept ty safe and sound. You can’t ’train’ a horse to have that bond. That in itself is a reason Skippy has a forever home with us! 💕🦄

No school day, so Ty and I got the tree done. We decided a new path this year and went with favorite ribbons. Love this idea and way to celebrate and remember great times with friends and amazing horses!
