Emme, (Tys bottle baby) headed up to Joe and Mom’s barn to be with the other calves tonight. Moved her with the herd and all was well.
We were all outside and heard a cow bellowing. Pretty soon, here came Emme, through the gelding pasture (there are no cows in that pasture) and Ty heard her and started calling to her. So Emme is once again in our barn, in Tuckers stall….Going to have to rethink this lol. sound up at the beginning, you can hear emme bellow and Ty answer her!!!

The boys were so little! Fun thing is little black bunny, ‘Pumpkin’ is still with us! She likes going out in the yard and having a fan on her! 😂

Johnathan started raising cattle when he was 2. We had set him up with a bank CD And after a year it had earned nothing. Mikes dad, Dean told us to take the money and buy him a bred cow. So we did. When Ty was old enough to purchase a cow, we did the same thing. They keep the heifers and sell the bull calves. Now we have more cattle in the big pasture than we do horses lol.

hard to believe Zuma has been with us 6 years! Tys first duck, he has been to many shows and used as a showmanship bird! Zuma has had quite a life with us, and even survived a fox attack, and becoming blind in one eye. We love him so much!

We had a lot of fun at our first pygmy goat show this weekend! Ty did well in showmanship, 4th out of 7 ages 9-13, and comment took a 3rd out of 5 in his wether class! Luna didn’t place in too 5 of her large 16 class but she walked and stood nice!

As part of our newest project, (pygmy goats!) Ty is getting ready for his first show. We have had several friends helping and guiding us along the way and our 4-H group, many of whom take goats. Thanks to Bella and Marybeth for teaching us how to trim goat hoofs properly! 💕🐐
