The Bone Adventure opened it’s doors in 2003. Now, with two Costa Mesa locations and over 60 employees, we are proud to be the dog care choice to thousands of individuals and families who have busy and demanding schedules but still want the companionship of a well-adjusted dog. Socialization and exercise are the primary factors contributing to a dog’s well being, and we strive to provide this in a safe, clean, and fun environment.

Have you ever wondered why some of our dogs wear life jackets?

Safety is our priority at the Swim Club, so most of the dogs wear life jackets on their first visit to swim. Many of the dogs do well without it, but some dogs need a little extra support- this includes breeds with barrel chests, brachycephalic breeds, or dogs who just aren't strong swimmers yet. We find our newer Swim Club dogs seem more confident in the water with a life jacket and hopefully that means they have more fun!

We use Ruffwear life jackets, which provide top notch support for any size dog, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. These vests have floatation material around the entire body, not just the top of the vest, so the dogs are lifted from underneath. Only the best for our pups!!
