This has taken me a little while to be able to post, but it is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear, sweet Autumn. Our little firework, who was here for too short a time, but left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Always so full of poise, always the model, the best at napping in the middle of the road. Her loss was completely unexpected and even with help of veterinarians we were not able to save her or to determine what happened. She is deeply missed by our family, our community and her sister Willow. She touched so many lives in the short time she graced us with and will be forever in our hearts.

Hard as it is to consider, our focus after her passing has been to find Willow a new friend as soon as soon as possible. Alpacas do not do well alone for even short amounts of time. Since Autumns passing we have been helping Willow through the mourning process and spoiling her with her favorite treats and hours spent together so she knows she is not alone. We thank everyone for their love and support during this time and we encourage you to share your favorite Autumn moment or wishes for Willow in the comments. 💗🦙🦙💗

Happy Earth Day!!! Did you know: are one of the greenest animals on the planet! They produce more fleece than sheep and they have more effective eating and drinking habits than other grazing animals, which greatly reduces impact. They are gently sheared and the fleece does not require any chemicals making the process extremely green. Alpaca p**p is also great for gardens and requires no composting.

We just got back from a New Years trip to Big Bear, CA. Unfortunately, Willow and Autumn could not come along with us. Did that stop us from making a snow sculpture alpaca in their likeness?
