😳Got a call at the old animal control today…. Neighbor dog was stuck with another dog. (They thought something was wrong) The season is upon us. Dogs go into heat. Babies are made. If you have an boy and girl dog -they will find a way. Regardless of size, relation, age. Please spay and neuter. If you can’t —then make your dog wear a diaper. We have lots of diapers of all sizes that I will give for FREE! Come anytime we are open! Spread the word. Fix your dogs. Let’s save some lives. ♥️🐾🐶✂️

We have Lassie!!!
She is a 1yr old female Sheltie Mix. She has that purty skinny collie face! She was a surrender and was not able to be taken care of- obvious by her being so thin. Will be 30lbs when at healthy weight, currently about 23lbs. We are glad to help and we hope we can find a loving family that can help her fatten up. She is now spayed, vaccinated, and hw tested. She is housebroken and crate trained. Also gets along well with cats and I would say tolerates other dogs. Her foster with the other rescue said she did well with her dogs but she seems a little overwhelmed here so maybe just proper intros. Come see her! Tag your collie/sheltie loving friends! 🐾🐶♥️

Bootsie is a 13yr old female tuxedo shorthair. This old gal has plenty of cuddling years left and would love her retirement lap. Her owner passed away and there wasn’t anywhere for her to go. 😔 S.O.L.A.S. stepped in to help and we hope to help find that loving home for her. She is very affectionate and friendly. 🥹😻

Slinkygirl is a 3-4yr old spayed female beagle. She is good with other dogs and cats and housebroken. She is a sweet friendly typical beagle girl. Tag your beagle friends. What’s another one?

Carol is a 3-4 month old female Corgi mix? She is adorably short and fluffy. Will need all the training but man this face is worth it! Only about 7lbs. Friendly and happy 🥹🐶♥️🐾

Uh oh. This little roly poly fluffer butt is a 3-4 month old male Corgi Mix. He sure is adorable and friendly happy go lucky puppy. Very treat motivated. He is currently about 7lbs. Need all the training. These don’t stay long! 🥹♥️🐾🐶

Megan is a sweet little Terrier Type mix? About 20lbs. Spayed female 1yr old. Has a cute little stumpy tail that wags a mile a minute. Super cute! Said to be good with other dogs and kids.

❓Friendly Reminder to everyone: have you updated your dogs microchip yet?

•••We would like to recognize that sometimes rescue dogs have a difficult transition period. I encourage you to reach out sooner than later if you are having issues with your adopted animals. We encourage you to try and establish a routine right away and be consistent with your training. First week is the hardest. Thank you for rescuing a new family member, hang in there! 🙏♥️🐾

We have raised $401 of the $900 vet bill!! Thank you guys so much and we appreciate the help. We don’t want to raise the cost of the dogs if they need extra help because it just makes them less adoptable unfortunately. Anything helps! 🙏

🐾We are OPEN TODAY 2-6pm!! Come see our animals!! 🐾

‼️Now I have a serious ask. We had multiple unexpected vet bills this last month. From basic stuff to major stuff, we don’t typically ask from our adopters as sometimes just the cost of business. We are looking at a $900 vet bill due not including the ones we’ve already paid. We are hoping some generous people will come through because these are the things that can break small business. Anything helps honestly. I will include our Venmo & PayPal.🙏

🫶We want to thank our supporters who always go out of their way to get us our needed stuff. We know that money isn’t always something that can be helped with so right now we need: bleach, puppy chow/proplan puppy, laundry detergent, floor cleaner.

Hey Saturday Nighters… hope you’re enjoying your evening. Maybe binging some TikTok before the big day. 😭 But I want to take a minute to say how awesome today was. We had 9 adoptions today. NINE‼️
We had multiple volunteers helping us. (TY!)🙏

☝️EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Of those adopters had to wait. Some of them didn’t even have a room to get to hang out in at first. 🫠They were literally in the halls. In the cat room. In our office. But not one mean person. Not one unkind word. To say we have been blessed with some of the best adopters is an understatement. 🥹🫶🐾
