GOD’S STILL PERFORMING MIRACLES✨

Well what a stressful month it has been. But thankful I get to report that our little baby foster dog Diamond has survived PARVO which can be a death sentence for many puppies! 🙏🏼🥹 💎

We werent sure if she would make a full recovery but prayed to Jesus to save her and He did! Hallelujah!! She has made a full recovery even after having a UTI on top of it all. She is a warrior!! ❤️‍🩹 🛡️⚔️

I had to learn so much about this illness ina short amount of time while she was in quarantine. How other dogs are not affected as long as they are older and have their full round pf puppy shots. Once a dog has those they are usually protected for life so my pack was not affected, thank you Lord! 👏

Diamond is back to her puppy life. And Polly is so happy to have her friend back that looves to play with her! They both have puppy energy so are a good match. And Polly is turning into a good teacher dog thank GOD, I guess Diamond’s really are a girls best friend! 🥰😍💎

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES📖
GOD HAS PLANS TO PROSPER US 🫶

Last night had a great consultation with Mack a sweet rescue that was adopted from Midlands Humane Society and landed in a home with an amazing DogMom! 🫶🐶

Mack is still a pup so we just worked on basic commands, discussed life skills and went through daily routines that will help them both live a long, happy, fulfilling life together. Same goes for kids obeying their parents!👏

We practiced using the leash as a communication tool inside and outside the place to help Mack understand what his Mom is trying to say to him. And we also talked about canine body language to help Mack’s Mom understad the same! 😉

Mack might not have landed in the right place the first time around, but thankfully God has a plan for all our lives. And grateful for the work of rescues and shelters, and this time around he hit the jackpot with his forever home! Thankful to got to work with this pack family! 🐶♥️

The goal of the enemy is to steal our peace and JOY so our job is to never let them do that, no matter what. That means praising the LORD always, even in the hard times! ☝️💕

The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy our lives and the things of God, but JESUS came so we could have LIFE. And when we walk with The Holy Spirit we have the FRUITS of Him in our life. 🕊️

Our blessed assurance is no matter what happens in our life, God is with us, He will never leave or forsake us. And that means with our animals too. People do not realize how much He loves His creatures! 🥹

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES 📖
CANT LOVE DEMONS OUT OF THEM 😈

I often joke about my little DEMON dogs. However demons are nothing to joke about, they are real. And they are sent out to do the works of the DEVIL through humans and animals to steal, kill and destroy our lives, but JESUS came so we could have life! 😈 ✝️

So we as Christians need to know our POWER AND AUTHORITY over these demons. One Christian is the majority in 1000 demons, that all must bow to Jesus Christ! But how do we defeat these Demons on a daily basis? 🛡️⚔️

We first must remember we do not fight against flesh and blood, but spirits. So we put on the FULL ARMOR OF GOD to withstand the attacks of our enemy. In DOG TRAINING we stick to the tools that we have been given in order to help our dogs submit to our authority! 🐕

If the people and animals we love don’t do that, they willingly give Demons access to their life. So we must remember that loving people or dogs with Demons will not SET THEM FREE! They must SURRENDER their life and will over to JESUS CHRIST!☝️🔥

DOG PARENTS AND PUPPY LIFE ♥️

Meet Ranger who is a new pup learning the Life Changing Dog Training program. He learned to come, sit, down and stay after our first session. Also learned to go down stairs praise the Lord! ☝️

Raising a new puppy is no joke, it comes with a whole new set of challenges similar to bringing home a baby. Babies lack the ability to control their emotions and are learning how to live in this world 🌎

So grateful to be able to guide new Dog Dads and Moms on their journey to raising a healthy, happy and balanced dog. God gave us these creatures as companions and as a gift in our lives. ♥️

But it is important we appreciate this gift by stewarding them properly and guiding them and teaching them. More direction, less correction. Thankful to have clients that take this responsibility seriously! 🙏🏼

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES 📖
FOSTERING LOVE AND DISCIPLINE 🐕

Meet our new foster dog Diamond, a three month old pup that needed a safe place to land to learn some training and life skills until her owner can take her.

It is good for my dogs too, even though the only one happy about it is Polly who for the first time has a friend with a puppy heart like her. They get to play and spend time together which is a blessing.

Over the course of my dog training career we have fostered around 10 dogs, some easier than others. After my last foster took an act of GOD to find her forever home, I said never again…but here we are.

Fostering is NOT for the faint of heart, I got a message from a client yesterday who just said…”fostering is hard.” And I encouraged her by sharing how many times I have been through it and also the hardest part is the beginning.

Usually the dogs come not having many life skills that you must begin to work through on day one. Guiding, teaching and raising them as your own, even though they are not yours. And if we really stop to consider all these dogs are just on loan from God anyway, they were never ours to begin with.

Still doesnt make it easy to put your blood, sweat and tears into a creature that you know will one day leave you and go to be with the person God has for them, which is why most people dont do it. But for those of us that do, just know we are doing THE LORD’S WORK.

We do it out of the love that He put in our hearts for His creation. And the work He does in the dog and person through this training will make you believe in miracles. So stayed tuned to watch what He does with this Diamond in the rough 💎

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES 📖
NEW LOGO AND NEW IN CHRIST🎚️

I have been working with designers over the last 6 months trying to recreate the old logo into a new one. Taking the old Dharma logo and adding a Cross in the middle of the dog to represent the LCDT transformation in Christ Jesus🎚️

I didnt think this would be a hard task, however after working with three different graphic designers, lots of back and forths, miscommunication and money spent I still didnt feel it represented our mission to transform lives by dog training but most importantly leading people to the LORD☝️

I finally started to wonder if the Lord wanted me to create something new, so I began to play around with some logos and talked to my closest family and friends getting feedback and adjusting. It’s still a work in progress, just like we all are but I think I have something that glorifies the finished work on the Cross. 🥹

I know people may not understand how much God loves His creatures, I didnt either when I first got saved. But since then He has revealed to me time and time again how much He cares about ALL His creation. And that He is prepared to save them along with us! Thank you Jesus! 😭

GOD GIVES FREEDOM TO CHOOSE☝️

Last week despite the heat Otis and Opal got to learn long line work and place command from their owners. They did great following along and being calm on command! 🙏🏼

Long line mirrors the relationship with God in that He doesnt force us to be in relationship with Him. He allows us the freedom to explore the world and make decisions and learn on our own that it feels better the closer we are to Him. ☝️

Place command is a life skill that requires us not to act on our emotions but to wait on the Lord to tell us what to do next. Animals and humans are used to acting on emotions to make decisions but this causes problems when the feelings are not good ones. 😬

That’s why the Lord wants us to go to Him with all of our feelings rather than act on what we feel in the moment. And why we ask the dogs to look to their Masters on how to behave and what to do next. That’s the blessing of a good relationship! 🐕

ADVENTURES IN DOG TRAINING ♥️

Polly and I have had some exciting adventures over the last week. Downtown, midtown and a tire shop taking in all the sights and sounds. Adventures like this are so good for our dogs and Polly is a hit wherever she goes! 🥰

It’s amazing how many people she draws to her and then loves on them, then I usually get to tell them about what we do and sometimes even share our testimony about how Jesus saved us both! 🔥

God had a plan for both of our lives, even when no one else wanted us, Jesus did because that’s who He is. He is the one that comes for those of us that are hardest to love and misunderstood by this world. 🌎

Cant wait to see all that God has planned for us in this next season, because He is not done with us yet. Thank you Lord for never giving up on us when we were both running from the gifts you wanted to give to us! ♥️

REMINDERS STAY ON NARROW PATH☝️

Had a great session with Grace and Cali and their DogMom this week! It’s been a while since I have seen the so it was a great check in to make sure things are going good and they are staying on the straight and narrow path! 🙏🏼🐕🐕

Grace and her Mama went through the training program before Cali came to live with them so she had good teachers! But since then lots of things have changed so it’s important to remember to stay on the path God has for them! ☝️💖

Just like God has a plan for our lives it’s important we stay focused and dont get off track and off the narrow path. We are not to be led astray by the temptations of the world which is designed to do that to us. 🌎

We checked in on E collar, long line and worked around my dogs too. Our training is all about impulse control and not acting on emotions which is what the Bible asks us to do too! So great to see them doing and feeling well! Praise the Lord! 🙏🏼✝️

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES 📖
FREEDOM TO MAKE DECISIONS ☝️

Had a great session with Harvey and his owners last week! We did a structured walk then long line work at the park to meet Harvey’s needs as a dog! 🐕

God created these creatures to hunt, sniff explore and be a dog! The long line allows the dogs to do what comes natural to them while still following their owners in the direction to keep them safe. This is the same thing Jesus wants for us! ✝️

The Lord is not a dictator so He allows us to explore the world and make decisions. However He will lead and guide us in the general direction He wants us to go with hopefully only gentle pressure! ☝️

After meeting Harvey’s needs you can see how happy he is from the photos! This exercise makes life so much better for us and our dogs, they are much more likely to be compliant in the things we are asking of them too! Thank the Lord! 🙏🏼

A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS ♥️

Last night we had a socialization session with Polly and our old friends Vito and his mama who both used to train with us. What an amazing night it was for us! 🥹

When Polly came to live with us she was not socialized much with other dogs knowing what was appropriate behavior. She overreacted, invaded space, jumped on backs and had trouble containing her emotions around them. 🫣

But last night she showed just how much she has learned in the few years she has been here. She was so respectful around Vito considerate of his age and even tried to play with him appropriately. 🥰

My heart was so full knowing that dogs know matter how old they are the LORD is not finished with them. Just like no matter how old we are or how far we’ve gone astray He is not done with us yet either! Praise God! 🙌🏼

WORKING TOGETHER FOR HIS GLORY☝️

Last night had a great session with Otis, Opal and their dog parents. Our training is about training the dogs but is also about teaching the humans so they have tools for the rest of their lives! 🙌🏼

On the consultation where they learned how to use the leash as a communication tool! So we were able to progress to a structured walk as these are an important part of life together since dogs are migratory creatures! 🐕🐕

We also reviewed thresholds so the dogs continue to look to their Masters for guidance and direction before running into situations that could get them into trouble. Just like we are to look to the Lord before we do the same thing! ☝️😄

Thankful God gave us the tools, knowledge and wisdom to work together with families to help them live their best lives with their dogs. Peace is the best gift we can give them! Thank you Lord! ✝️🕊️

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES 📖
STARTING OFF ON THE RIGHT PAW🐾🐾

Yesterday had an amazing session with Ellie and her new family. She has only been in her home 10 days but her owners wanted to make sure they were getting her started correctly! ☝️

God had a plan to make dogs as cute as they are so we could have the patience to deal with their naughty behavior. Yes even though Ellie is the cutest, she is still a naughty little puppy! 🥰😬

Ellie has an older brother so it was important we explained to her what was acceptable and unacceptable behavior around him. Also she was biting he and their parents beyond what was normal puppy teething so we gently but clearly corrected her and redirected her just liker her dog mama would! 😉

The Bible says if we start our children off in the way they should go they will not depart from it. This goes for puppy parents too. We all need tools to raise our human and dog children correctly! 🙏🏼 📖

Thankful I was able to give this fam some tools to communicate clearly with each other. Also most important to share the gospel while doing it. And even got puppy snuggles, those smells stayed with me all day. What a blessing Lord! 🥹✝️🐾

Thankfully Polly is a dog that doesnt mind the loud bangs. So after we put the other dogs inside in their kennels, we spend time outside together so we can keep working on desensitization to these noises!🙏🏼🥹💥

THE GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES📖
HARVEY HEELS FOR HIS MASTER 🫶

Last week had a great session with Harvey and his owners. Despite the heat, he learned a structured walk, and how to heal and be obedient and follow his Master’s lead! 🤲

Even when the weather is not cooperating, short walks can be helpful to help your dogs get out of the house and practice training. We focus on real world training and skills for our clients that they will have for the rest of their lives! 👏

We also taught Harvey “place command” to so Harvey could learn how to settle and relax and be still in his home setting. This is an important life skill for dogs as most of them like humans have trouble relaxing and finding peace in this crazy world. 🙏🏼

The Lord wants us to be still, and know that he is in control no matter what is going on in the world. And to continue in obedience to him as we learn to trust Him, follow Him and build our relationship with Jesus! ☝️

THE GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CREATURES📖
DOING OUR BEST TO SAVE OUR DOGS 🐕

Depsite the heat we had a great session with Noodle and her owners last week. Polly helped out because Noodle was solo on this session and allowed us time to reflect on Scout’s life with his owners. 🙏🏼🐕🤍🕊️

This was our last session in their program. And during this time, Scout and Noodle’s owners did everything they could with Scout to help him change his behaviors. However he continue to be unpredictable putting them in dangerous situations.🥺

This was not the first training program they had been through. So along with our behavior modification program they did medication trials, blood tests, changing their environment, etc. And as a trainer I have a responsibility to make sure everyone stays safe, and that goes for humans too.🫣

I have not had to make a call like this in a long time, but I have coached a handful of clients through letting go when we’ve done all we could. It’s the hardest decision any dog owner is faced with, I know this because I have been through it myself. 😢

It’s one of the reasons I do this so that other people do not have to face relinquishing pr euthanizing their dogs for behavior issues. But it happens more than people realize and it can be a heartbreaking experience, for not only humans but the dogs when they lose their companions. 💔

Our job as stewards and guardians over our dogs is to get them back home to our Creator in Heaven with as of good report as possible. To keep them safe and help guide them the best we can while they are here with us. But just like us all the best food, training and environment can’t keep them on earth forever. 🙏🏼🥹

Thankful that the Bible is proof that God loves His creatures. One day we will all be together one day in the new Kingdom, so run free buddy, we love you and know God had a purpose for your life. See you again over the rainbow where there is no more pain or tears. Praying for this pack family as they navigate their new normal!🙏🏼🐕🌈♥️🤍🕊️
