Happy Fourth of July we are celebrating with this little ranch hand!
Came to me as a hard loader... the problem wasn't the trailer it was trust...
I had the privilege to attend the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City last week. This is Craig Schmersal laying down a stop!
Winter is almost upon us, ride well and safe, we have an exciting year of clinics coming in 2022!!
May babies abounding here at Fish Tail Bar G! New little angus bull calf born yesterday afternoon, just about an hour old here on wobbly legs!
This little horse hasn't gone into a trailer since 2019, today her owner learned to help her load! It's not about getting the horse in the trailer, (they all load) its about helping the owner help the horse... well done Morgan Burton!
We hauled a couple more non-noading horses this morning, when I am loading this Mini donkey the mare is in the front I will try to attach a picture of her getting in as well, please note this little guy loaded on a loose lead rope. There is no "work the horse outside of the trailer so that the trailer becomes the place they want to be" that is horsemanship through mechanics and is not beneficial to the horse.
I forgot to mention that from the time I turned off my truck until it turned it back on to leave, including catching both of them, was 16 minutes…
This is a typical day here in the arena thought I would share this video you may find it interesting turn the sound on I do narrate it. I don't think it's very long enjoy!
This is a fun, fun video! My good buddy Jacob Deweese is coming out of the head side box, he and his horse are bang up Ropers! Thank you for sharing Jacob!
What a nice little horse! Ocho rode off quiet and calm. Very soft in my hands. This video is only one minute and 23 seconds long and you can see at the end I backed him up and turned him around, thank you so much to my good buddy Jacob Deweese for helping out today!
I have people ask me all the time how do you load a horse that you can't even touch? Well here it is!
