This time of year, please keep my rescue in mind for giving. I put all of myself into the Guardian dogs that have zero chance of life. I take them in and work with them every day. I take no vacations since I am alone with the dogs. See the dogs, and please help!

Coda is finally at the vet! He received his first shot to knock him out, and he is not happy. He may need another shot, but he is doing well! Coda did try to bite the technician, but that's just Coda. You can still help:

This is Coda. He has a vet appointment on Monday morning. He has been a great dog, protecting animals from master predators. Coda received an injury to his back leg, which made him aggressive. Now, I have him to a point where I can get him help without him getting aggressive with me or anyone else, so I can get him the vet care he needs. Gampik came in from Los Angeles County shelter system. He was not happy, and he scared me good a few times with aggressive behavior. Now, he is showing how amazing he is. What a dog. This is what I do here! I get the natural dog to come out then teach how to act. Please help with this process:

Another wonderful update on the female puppy (puppy2):

Update on Shirley- she’s the best dog.

She LOVES our guests. To the point where she will spend all day with them. Hiking, playing in the river.

She impressed the last family we had last weekend. 3 moms with a bunch of small kids around 6-10 yrs old.

They were at the river playing and the kids were exploring up and down the riverbank looking for craw dads.

A snake came out of the underbrush and Shirley got around between it and the kids and started pushing the kids back towards their moms and wouldn’t let the kids go up that part of the river for a good 10-15 min.

Super gentle about it, but she was very firm and kept the kids away. Grumbled at them like a Husky.

They joked about stealing her they loved her so much.

Winter is a young dog that had no chance of any life. She is very scared of humans. This is one of the very sad cases I will see. Winter did not even have a name when she came in. Now she is running around to gain her confidence. I just let her go and roam the five acres now so she can gain her confidence and it’s working. This just takes time.
