We will end the year with these final puppies!
Summit x Fenix has given us a these total knock out puppies!! Puppies will be in the smaller side with weights expected to max at about 25-30lbs

Ok, finally time to post these beautiful puppies!!
Sometimes it takes a little time for people to realize how beautiful non-Merle puppies are! But I assure you they blossom into the most beautiful beings! These two produced outstanding personalities in their last litter and I expect no less of these pups! Their eyes just opened but they continue to brighten up every day! Looks like lots of blue eyes.

Puppies are expected to be in the 35-45 lb range when fully grown.

Jett x Monroe puppies are just so adorable 🥰
They are now integrated in our common space within our home so all of our pack has the opportunity to interact with them (with momma Jett's watchful eye or course!) they are just cute as can be and super sweet!!

We noted a particular Sparrow sounded alarmed when we were on our front porch watering hanging flowers a couple weeks back. Decided to check in the flower pots to note a clutch of tiny eggs!! Well they have now hatched! 🐣 they make no sound right now!! So we will let mum care for her little ones in peace. Those flowers might now fair so well without watering but that's ok!

Finally 😅 pics 📸 of Jett x Monroe puppies!! They are litteral perfection!! 👌
I'm debating on the color of one puppy as he looks like he could be a dark red!!

All the puppies eyes are starting to open lots of blue eyes in this litter!

Jett gave us 7 beautiful babies!
4 black Tri’s (pretty tan points no facial white)
2 blue Merle’s
1 Red Merle

Mom is getting a brief rest as she was a trooper.
Individual pics will be taken after mom has some much needed bonding time with her babies. She’s in love 🥰.

Our beautiful Ms Jett is going to be a first time momma any day now!! She was the paired with our Fabulous Monroe. Jett & I share a birthday 6/30. She just turned 3!! She is very huge so we are expecting a lots of tiny faces. We do have a waiting list for pups but have room so if you on the puppy search and are interested reach out!! I’ll be updating our website with her info soon!!

"𝘼 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙙𝙤𝙜 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙...."

Tradition might lead us to believe that behaviours like sit, down or heel are fundamental for a "good dog" but are they really? While these behaviours have a place under certain conditions I don't think they are usually the skills which most owners get the most benefit from most of the time.

Instead the lifeskills which (I think) make life with a dog easier (and isn't that what most of us are after?) are -

• the ability to move well on lead
• the ability to interact politely with other dogs & people
• the ability not to interact with other dogs & people
• the ability to settle
• the ability to be relaxed and calm alone for short periods
• the ability to recall when asked

And, importantly, all of these also have demonstrable benefits for the dog too.

Lots of us have busy lives and don't have unlimited time to devote to teaching our dogs so it makes sense to really think about what behaviours are likely to be the most beneficial to you and your dog and focus your efforts on those instead of blindly following traditional dogma.

Teach what you really need; not what you think you "should".

Had to share how sweet🙂‍↕️ puppy sleep is ❤️

Puppies are definitely ready for more adventure! We’ve opened up the whelping box and they are learning to navigate more space and using the potty in the “right” place. Pellets intro has also started. We are still putting our house together 😓 but take breaks to snuggle a puppy 🤩!!

Puppies eyes are now opening and they are trying out those wobbly legs❤️ Mum still has the best 🥛 bar around!!

So we been loosely keeping a little secret that’s not so little anymore! Good time to introduce our HJ’s Savage Daughter BANSHEE! She’s just about 5 months old now she will be a big girl!! She’s super sweet! She is half sister to Fred & Monroe. We will see great things from her in the future!
