✨ Krewe Member of the Week: Melissa! ✨

If you’ve been to Resurge, you’ve probably met Quinn — and where there’s Quinn, there’s Melissa! 🐾

Melissa is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP), and Certified Hyperbaric Technician–Veterinary (CHT-V) at Resurge. She earned her RVT through Delgado Community College and completed her CCRP through the University of Tennessee.

With over 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Melissa has worked in general practice, emergency medicine, and specialty care. Her passion lies in animal rehabilitation and advanced therapies, where she’s dedicated to improving patient comfort and mobility through skilled, compassionate care. 💚

Melissa lives in Mississippi with her husband, five dogs, and four horses. Outside of work, she enjoys competing with her Quarter Horse, Rusty, in both Western and English judged events — reflecting her lifelong connection to animals in and out of the clinic. 🐴💜

Melissa is one of those people you always want on your team — hardworking, compassionate, and always going the extra mile for our patients (and coworkers!). 💪
