🐾 Happy National Pit Bull Awareness Day! 🐾

At Fantana Farm and Kennel, we board a lot of pitties so we know just how incredible they are. These lovable dogs are full of personality, loyalty, love...and don't forget those pittie smiles! 🐶❤️.

Today, we want to celebrate our fantastic Pit Bull friends and highlight the importance of understanding and appreciating this amazing breed. Whether they're snuggling on the couch, playing fetch, or giving the best puppy kisses, Pit Bulls are always ready to bring joy and happiness into our lives.

This is my boy Deuce. He's happy go lucky, silly and obviously very tolerant! But, what I love most about him is his ability to bond deeply with anyone he meets as if he can see into their soul!

Hi to anyone who has a loved one boarding with us. I know many of you are in different time zones right now and are concerned about the impacts of hurricane Helene. So, just a quick update. It’s 1:30 here in Georgia and I just took a quick spin around the kennel. So far all is well. It’s raining but not that hard. We’re not currently experiencing any thunder or wind so everyone is calm and quiet. All drains are draining, and pumps and generators stand at the ready if needed!

I could not be more excited to announce that Heaven has found her forever home. It comes complete with 2 loving humans and a new fur brother-from-another- mother! The best news is Debi,Mike and Diesel are already wwonderful customers so we will still get to watch our little Heaven grow! Thank you Debi and Mike for making room for one more in your home.

Rosie, this beautiful, sweet, smart shepherd girl has been with us since February when one of our team members found her as a stray. Today, Rosie got to go to her new forever home, with her new humans, who are already totally in love with her and treating her like a princess! Happy day!!

For Heaven’s sake!

Who would drop a sweet, young, beautiful shepherd mix off at boarding, kiss her goodbye, look into those gorgeous trusting eyes, promise her she’ll be back soon, and then…never come back?

Meet Heaven. Her human did just that. Sweet Heaven has been waiting anxiously for almost 2 months for her owner to fulfill that promise. I just don’t have the heart to tell her she was abandoned. Please help me find Heaven a home where she’s so loved she won’t remember a time when she wasn’t!

A little about Heaven:

She’s a shepherd mix with GORGEOUS brindle markings.
She’s under a year old
Sweet as can be
Walks well on a leash
Still has A LOT of puppy energy
Crate trained
WELL socialized
Will be spayed prior to adoption
Up-to-date vaccines
I will include a training package for the perfect home.
