This lovely little girl is available in Barn! Full Lease or half lease option!
Video taken today.
β΅οΈ Available
Name: Taffy
Age: 20
Breed: Halflinger
Height: 14 hands
Taffy enjoys the slower things in life but is still full of life as well. She has previous training in vaulting and under saddle. She has been used in a lesson program. She will also hack out on the trails. She is shod on the front and in true halfie style needs moderate diet control. She does not enjoy jumping so a non jumping home preferred (Pre-Amoeba is about as high as she likes to pick her feet up - video also shows her jumping attempts). She does walk, trot and canter (right lead is a bit harder for her to get). She has been around kids, goats, chickens and currently pastures with other mares. She is not currently on any maintenance and is in work once to twice a week currently. She just needs a job and her own human.
Located in Covington, GA
π°Mid to lower fours.
She is available for on-site lease as well.

The girls have been itching to do some mounted games things and they had a blast today.

To say I was not ridiculously happy of this little mares' progress would be a lie.
I met this mare a couple of months ago and had to take our stock trailer to get her on and to the farm. Today, her owner brought the trailer she kept giving them trouble with.
After working her for a minute, I turned her over to them to load, and she did exactly what she needed to. So proud of this mare.
Good morning from a few of the girls at the farm coming up from the back pasture. β¨οΈπ
We had a very blessed Sunday morning at the farm. It was busy and full of activity. Good riders, great horses and one beautiful farm. β€οΈ

2010 OTTB Bay Mare- Secret Story- "Fairytale"
Fairytale has a very detailed ad posted below on our farm page.
The videos are from her trip today to Ashland Farm where she got to see the dressage rings, Jumper ring and xc field. She also did some of the trails. She covered over 3 miles and was great for it all. She crossed bridges and creeks on the trail then we came back to the xc field and she did banks (up and down them), ditches (even did the BN one) and the water. I popped her over a tadpole jump and she took it like a dream.
This mare is not for a beginner and has not been jumping long but with a non timid rider who's looking for a fun little mare, this is her. She has never done anything dangerous or stupid.
Located in Covington, GA. She is up to date on all vet work. She is shod on the front. She is pri ced in the low fours to the right home - this mare is not a fit all type horse and I know her person is out there.
π₯ Spicy Horse Alert πΆ
For my spicy horse lovers, this lady is a 12 year old ottb by the name "Secret Story". We call her- Fairytale. She is by Tale Of The Cat (Storm Cat) out of Sand Pebbles (IRE). This spicy package grew to a whopping 15 hands even. She had 3 starts and ended with one third place before she moved into the breeding shed. She has three foals, 2016, 2018 and 2019. Her current 2019 foal is still on the track and won last month. Her 2016 son can flat foot a four foot fence. Her 2018 daughter is my current event horse going starter level. She was bought, raced and owned for 11 years by Winchester Place Thoroughbreds in KY. She retired from broodmare duties and now into her next career.
Fairytale is broke to walk, trot and canter. She saddles - standing tied can be fun but she's learned sitting back gets her no where (lots of time at a patience tree with a tie blocker ring). She now crossties with an occasional pawing episode if I leave her side and how dare she have to stand by herself. The mounting block can be an interesting conversation, if I was 10 years younger and two kids ago - I'd just ground mount but she is learning mounting blocks are not a bad option. That being said, she'll allow you in the saddle but may head back towards her buddies cause how dare she have to work and them out there- so the conversation of no we go this way takes a few mins then she gives up her opinion (mildly). She has never bucked, reared or done anything that makes me scared or think she's dangerous. I will be the first to be upfront about that if so and I wouldn't be on her back if I thought in anyway she was (I have two minions who need me as their caretaker).
To be noted: I looked at this mare back in Feb 2021 and she had a puffy right hind so I left her there to be turned out/heal from whatever she did running in the field. She has seen the vet for a lameness exam and she seems at some point she did something to the deep digital tendon on that hind righ

14(estimated coggins says 2008) year old paint gelding. Stands around 14.2 hands (will measure to confirm). He is currently working walk/trot in our lesson program. His vices - he will try to stop and exit if the arena if allowed , we have found a bit that he doesn't try this in even with our littlest riders. This guy can be pushy if allowed but a quick correction with ground work (we literally did one day, the very first day he was here) and we have no issue with him on the ground.
Located in Covington GA
Low fours , starting with a 2.
Yesterday was a marvelous β¨οΈ day. It was absolutely gorgeous day with just a little heat and sun π. We had 18 beautiful lessons and riders. Some new and some getting ready for their first show this weekend. Overall, everyone had great rides and a fun time.
