We hope everyone stayed safe and had fun in this winter wonderland that we were blessed with.

The last little bit of snow we got was 9 years ago at our current property.

We are expected to get Snow and Ice tomorrow starting in the morning. We will definitely be closed tomorrow from lunch and on as the roads are expected to ice.

We have decided to reschedule lessons for this afternoon due to the wind gust. We did not make this decision lightly but I don't think anyone would have fun with the gust and temperature drop that this afternoon would be much fun for anyone.

We have meant to post the results from the 2024 Retired Racehorse Project but life has been busy.

Fedora Freya and Jen claimed a top 10 in Dressage placing 6th and just 0.8 out from making the top 5 and making finals. They were also 17th in Competitive Trail.

We are so proud of Pi and can't wait to see where she continues to grow to. ❤️

We had a great day yesterday at our favorite show of the year, big cheese Halloween show! 🎃

Katelyn and Domino (or Piglet and Eeyore) in their first show together snagged a 2nd in a good group of pre Amoebas.

Rory and Fudge (or The Mad Hatter and Bunny) was 5th out of 9 in the Amoeba group.

Lynnlee and Jasmine (or Disgust and Anxiety) had a great training day when Jasmine decided to be a spicy mare. Proud of Lynnlee for working through it.

Kate and Chaos (or Toothless and Astrid) had a great move up to BN although kate took a tumble early in the week she worked through one refusal at the show and got her over it.

Aubrie and Clove (or Cookie Monster and Elmo) had their move up to BN as well and finished with one minor refusal and a score of 39 total with the refusal and a 3rd.

Jen and Pisces moved up to First Level Test 1 and a score of a 61% with some rider errors.

Super proud of the horses and riders. Can't wait for this season!

Lease Options Available

1st Up is Looking Hot or "Tamale" as we call her. She is a 6 year old OTTB mare who competed in the 2023 RRP and placed 8th in Trail and 29th in Dressage. She has had this year to just hang around the farm and is now slowly being geared back up for the 2025 show season. She is not for a beginner but she would be a fun ride for a talented junior or young adult rider. She has been over BN XC jumps and is schooling SJ at 2'6 at home as well. We would love to find her a rider to take her out at the Starter level for end of the year into 2025. On-site or offsite options. On-site full lease- $750

2nd up is Starbuck Express or "Domino" as we call him. He is a treasured member of the farm and lesson program. He can do all three phases and also play in the western events. He is good for beginners and up. His lease is on-site only and his jump limit is to 2'3. He has no limitations but we would like to preserve his body to last for many more riding years. Lease option is a half lease only. Monthly lease is $450.

3rd up is Wreaking Havoc or "Chaos" as she is called. She is a great packer type mare. Not marish. She has schooled up to BN and her current rider is taking her out BN for next show season. Her rider will be bringing along a young horse this year so we will be looking for a partial lease so that Chaos maintains her fitness and training. Chaos is for a beginner and up. On-site only options. Monthly Lease is $450.

4th up is Sugar and Spice or "Clove" as she is called. Clove is good for an advanced beginner. She has taught her current rider very well and continues to as well. If we could make cloves legs longer, she'd probably be on her forever. Her current rider is taking her out BN this year but Clove happily pops over crossrails and likes to have a job in general. Full lease is $750 a month. On-site preferred.

Lease price covers horse expenses a month including board, farrier and supplements. Lessons and anything additional is extra.

Today's Big Cheese 🧀 Schooling Show adventure!

Katelyn and Alyssa joined us for their first eventing adventure in the PreAmoeba CT with a 4th and a 3rd!

Rory and Lynnlee completed the Amoeba CT with a 7th and 2nd! (The 7th is the prettiest ribbon 😉)

Kate and Aubrie completed the Starter HT with a 2nd and 5th. Proud of both of these for completing cross country. These girls have put in the work for those starter rounds.

Jen and Pisces did Intro C with a 70% and Training Level Test 2 with a 67%. This was a great last outing before the makeover in two weeks.

We are so proud of each one of these pairs and I absolutely can't wait to see them progress in the next year. These girls are so much fun and have so much fun on their ponies and off. Here's to the next adventure!

She does not enjoy jumping so a non jumping home preferred (Pre-Amoeba is about as high as she likes to pick her feet up - video also shows her jumping attempts). She does walk, trot and canter (right lead is a bit harder for her to get). She has been around kids, goats, chickens and currently pastures with other mares. She is not currently on any maintenance and is in work once to twice a week currently. She just needs a job and her own human. Located in Covington, GA 💰Mid to lower fours. Hello there,

Welcome to the page of Sawtooth Ranch, our lovely little farm. Sawtooth Ranch went from a dream to a reality on October 31,2014, the day we purchased our small piece of heaven. Our property sits between the Covington Bypass and Rocky Plains Road, convenient to major highways such as Hwy 36, Hwy 81, Hwy 212, Hwy 162 and even Interstate 20. We are just minutes away from Downtown Covington, 25 mins from Downtown McDonough, 25 mins from Downtown Conyers, and all under an hour away from other surrounding cities such as Social Circle, Loganville, Monticello, Lithonia, Snellville, Monroe and many more. Also, We are only 40 mins outside Atlanta as well.

Many have asked, Why the name Sawtooth Ranch? If you have visited our property or plan to in the future, check out our beautiful Sawtooth Oak trees that line our driveway and throughout some of our property. These were planted long before we purchased the place and provide the property with a good amount of shade throughout the year. Sawtooth Oaks are not a very popular type of tree seen or heard of and this provided us with a unique opportunity to have a name that stood out but had meaning behind it as well.
