Just a heads up for clients coming in on Saturday!

🚙Heads up, drivers! The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will close a portion of Lee Road in Covington, between Mulberry Grove Ln. and Wildwood Ln., from Saturday, August 17 at 6 a.m to Sunday, August 18 at 8 p.m.

Crews will be conducting emergency maintenance on a cross-drain in the area.

This handsome boy is Mac. His owner is having health issues and can no longer give him the care he needs, so we are trying to help him find a new home. He's declawed on his front paws, so he would only be able to be indoors. He's about 12 years old neutered male. He does have some skin issues and requires steroid shots periodically, which we will be more than willing to help with. Mac has been with another cat, but we prefer him to go to a home where he will be the only pet. If you would like to meet him, give us a call to schedule a time.

Today we had a visit from some beautiful Dogo Argentino puppies for their BAER testing! As you can see this test is not painful as they fell asleep during the test! Just a reminder we are the only clinic other than LSU that offers BAER testing in Louisiana!

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce Ned, Dr. Peter's beloved Lab, has crossed to the Rainbow Bridge. Ned was a constant at Hillside, greeting clients and pets with his infectious smile and never-ending tail wags.

Ned loved, as all dogs do, but Ned loved a little more than most. He loved his Dad, his family, his Courtney, and all the staff here. He fought for so long just to stay with us a little longer. Today we let him go, surrounded by the staff that loved him and Dr. Peter. He's free of pain and reunited with Clyde and Hobo.

We will miss you so much, Ned. You'll always be a part of us. Now go hunt some ducks in Heaven.
