A frosty delight is just what pets crave for the holidays! ❄️ These easy-to-make paw print treats are not only cute, but also healthy. Here's how to whip them up:

Ingredients:
✔️Plain Greek yogurt
✔️Unsweetened applesauce
✔️Any pet-safe fruit
✔️Silicone molds or ice cube tray

Instructions:
🐾 Mix equal parts plain Greek yogurt and unsweetened applesauce in a bowl.
🐾 Spoon mixture into your mold.
🐾 Add your choice of pet-safe fruit to the center of each mold.
🐾 Place the molds in the freezer for 4 hours or until the treats are frozen solid.
🐾 Pop the treats out of the molds and serve.

OVER 100 PETS FOR ADOPTION!!! Here's a sneak peek of the homeless pets who will be searching for their forever families at our Fee-Waived Adoptions: Home for the Holidays Event taking place Saturday, December 9th 10 AM - 1 PM at PetSuites Northshore!!

This is just a sneak peek so make sure to stop by to meet all of the adoptable dogs and cats 🙂 and remember adoption fees will be waived for NHS pets at the event only.

In addition to the 100+ adoptable dogs and cats on-site, there will fun for the entire family including free, pet-friendly holiday photos in a vintage camper photo booth, The smokin buddha food truck, live music, holiday gift shop, and much more!

The health and well-being of our guests is our top priority, and we are keeping close track of the respiratory infection being reported in dogs in various U.S. states.

Animal health care officials have been working to better understand the illness and level of concern. However, no consensus has been reached on cause and cases have begun to wane in some areas.

As we continue to monitor this year’s cases, we wanted to share a reminder on how we can work together to keep dogs healthy. We do everything we can to give you peace of mind and help prevent the spread of pathogens by:

✔️ Following a strict sanitation practices including cleaning kennels daily, sanitizing our floors every night, cleaning water bowls regularly, and picking up eliminations immediately.

✔️ Requiring vaccinations against DHPP, Rabies, K9 cough Bordetella and Canine Influenza.

✔️ Conducting pet health checks on arrival and following a quarantine protocol for ill pets.

✔️ Asking that pet parents of any pets displaying symptoms of illness please contact your veterinarian and keep your dog isolated at home.

We appreciate your support in keeping our four-legged community healthy.
