We will be close starting on Thursday the 28th for Thanksgiving, and will reopen Monday the 2nd. On this Wednesday the 27th, we will be in the office seeing appointments from 7am-9am, but our receptionist will be in to take calls until noon.
If you have any emergency needs while we are closed, we encourage you to utilize AVETS or BluePearl Pet Hospital. For non-urgent appointment needs, please use our scheduling portal which is linked in our bio.

Good Evening! We will have reception staff in the clinic answering the phone tomorrow from 8am to noon, but we will unavailable for any medication or product pickups for the entirety of the day. Our final technician spotlight is Amy Beers! Amy has been a veterinary technician for 25 years. She is a mother of 2 boys, and a grandmother of 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson (and soon to be a 3rd grandchild!) Her and her husband, Darrel, own a 150 acre farm where they have 2 dogs (Brooke and Veda), a cat (Link), 3 horses, cattle, and chickens. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, knitting, spinning wool, camping, fishing, reading and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. One thing we love about Amy is the special courage and compassion she has for pets and their owners during the most difficult moments of our job. Thank you Amy for all that you do!

Todays technician highlight is Amy Parker! She has been a certified veterinary technician for 11.5 years. She has 3 dogs (Eclipse, Sadie and Bo), and 1 cat (Pikabu). In her time away from the clinic, she enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and boating with her fiance, Jeramy, and their daughters. One thing we love about Parker are her exceptional teamwork skills, as she is always willing to share her vast knowledge. She has especially saved us with managing our complicated computer system! ☺️Everyone give her a big thank you, we are so appreciative of you and all that you do Parker!!

Our next Technician spotlight is our amazing Tori! Tori has two dogs (Arlo and Mack) and two guinea pigs (Roo and Jack). She has been a Technician for 3.5 years, and at Dogwood with us since February. When she is off from working hard in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, family, and friends. One thing we love about Tori is her positive attitude while taking on many tasks at a time. We also love how obsessed she is with keeping our patients toasty warm post-surgery☺️. We feel grateful everyday to have Tori on our team!!

This National Vet Tech Week, we would like to take each day to individually recognize our amazing technicians. Today, we will start off with Karrie! Karrie has been a certified veterinary technician for 8.5 years. She has 3 dogs (Meatball, Cinch, and Ava), two cats (Baby and Panther), two guinea pigs (Flower and Billie squeaks), a pony (Buttermilk), and three pigs (Annie, Tank, and Beans). Besides being a wonderful technician, she also renovates houses with her husband, Josh, and she enjoys camping with her family in her free time. One thing we love about Karrie is her calmness, especially during surgeries, which helps us to run smoothly everyday! Thank you for all that you do Karrie!
