Ok guys, I'm really praying about this. I'm shutting down my client list. Right now I'm booked into February, which is great! Don't get me wrong, but I want to take these next few months to focus on my current clientele. Let me beat you to a few questions....
NO, I'm not closing
YES, if you have an appointment, you still have one and will continue to.

I'm just not taking on new dogs as of now. This might open back up down the road.

What I will say....take care of your current dog groomer, hairstylist, waitress, nail tech, ect ect.

Especially if they try their hardest to show up for you, to keep things affordable for you, to go the extra mile to accommodate you. "I can do it myself" gets thrown around a lot. And that in fact could be the case. And if it is, I'm literally happy for you to be able to save some bucks. But unless people want to start doing a lot of things "themselves" please start appreciating these people...or we'll be doing a lot "ourselves"

Burnout is real and it's not solely from the work itself ❀️

I'm seeing an alarming trend.
I'm just going to point out a few things.

This goes for hairdressers, dog groomers, nail techs, literally all small businesses.
We are tired.... and we are dropping at a quick rate.

A few things we just wish people understood....

-If they are trying to keep your price reasonable, make up for it when you can ❀️

-Calling, texting and messaging on nights and weekends is really hard to keep track of and takes away from any time we have off. And then its easy for us to forget to get back to you during normal business hours because....life ❀️

-Please, please, please give us a couple days notice if you're not going to make your appointment. I was out $700 last month from no shows and last minute cancelations. This is after turning away new customers because I'm booked out so far. It's literally like you going for a paycheck and it being $700 less. It hurts. I know things come up and I am flexible, just please try to give some warning ❀️

-We LOVE what we do ❀️❀️❀️ Please don't think I'm complaining. I'm not. I honestly think a lot of people just aren't aware. But the sad fact is...if we don't start taking care of the small businesses...we won't have them.

I'm SO looking forward to this Christmas season with your pups!!!
