Applesauce is using his new and improved post-toe-amputation paw to pawtograph canvases up for bid in our Fall Auction. tiny.cc/HDRFall23

We will try to use these stamper things, but if that does not work we will move to black acrylic paint and have a good ole mess! That's ok, it's all to raise money to help some of our area's most needy animals.

Depending on how he's doing, Applesauce may also pawtograph larger canvases and wooden apples for future use. Who knows? Anything can happen during a live video. We are sorry in advance for any craziness that is sure to happen!

So the three small canvases are already listed in our Fall Auction, to add your bid, click on the auction link above and scroll to find the red, blue, and yellow infographics. You won't know which one you will be getting.

during the pandemic shut-down to show folks how to make their own enrichment boxes, and other ways to exercise their dog's minds. Pay no attention to the parts mentioning "pay what you wish", this was originally published in the dog training group for my training business. (I was trying to get creative on how to retain clients and income since I could not see clients in person.) I am sharing it now as we have a need for enrichment boxes for one of our program dogs with an orthopedic issue rendering him unable to go for walks. So I dug this out of the archives to show a volunteer and figured I would share. Also because Applesauce needs more enrichment as I will be recovering for several more weeks. So here goes, his first attempt!

Separately, I have an impulse control, intro to heel, and a few other classes I did virtually during the pandemic. The videos are a few years old but if you would guys might like to take these classes - at no charge, of course, since again these were made and posted in my dog training group back during the covid shut down, let me know and I can see about posting them weekly here!

Our reactive dog class is opening back up. The next session begins on Saturday, March 19th at 9:30 at RIC. These classes tend to run full with a wait list so please hit the Contact Us tab on the website and let me know ASAP if you will be registering.

Does your dog bark or lunge at other dogs? This class is for you.

Politics aside, what are your thoughts here? I would have to agree that Major would be more comfortable is a calmer and more predictable environment.

The White House was not the best environment for this beloved dog.

At Pit Class last week we started working on helping the dogs move into heel position. After a couple of students asked for the handout it occured to me that this might be helpful for others.

Please note that this is ONLY instruction on helping your dog to MOVE into heel position. This is not a handout on teaching your dog to WALK in heel position. Please don't complete these steps then expect your dog to WALK in heel position. Your dog will need more instruction to be able to learn to successfully learn to WALK in the heel position.

Reactive Class canceled due to rain, and now Pit Class Basic One is cancelled due to a family of coyotes who with whom we are having a scheduling conflict with fkr use of the parking lot.
