A HUGE round of paws and applause for Melissa and her amazing pup Kai. After receiving help when Kai got sick, Melissa was determined to return that kindness and to pay it forward. She gathered her community and made a MASSIVE donation of hundreds of cans of dog food to help the pups waiting for homes at our shelter! We are beyond thankful — and the dogs are already digging in. Thank you, Melissa, for being a shining example of what it means to love, give, and uplift others.

We are open today 3-7pm and the “Karate Kid” kittens are looking for individual forever homes. Daniel (male), Johnny (male), Alli (female), Bob (male), Mack (male), and Nora (female) were born on 4/24/25 and are Domestic Short Hair kittens. Adoptable Rosemary has a few firework tips to keep your pets safe this year. More animals go missing on the 4th of July than any other day of the year. In some places, fireworks go on for days before and after the Holiday. It’s extremely stressful for pets AND their owners. Please share!

Meet Garth on Wednesday 3-7pm. He was a star at our recent puppy yoga event and loved meeting everyone. This handsome brindle boy was born on 3/17/24 and he has a TON of love to give. He loves to play, his tail is always wagging, and is is going to bring a lot of fun to the lucky family that adopts him. We always require meet and greets to ensure he will be a perfect fit for a home with other dogs. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. We had a blast at our SoulFriend Yoga puppy yoga class today. We raised $580 and the pups loved meeting everyone. We are so thankful for the continued kindness and generosity that the SoulFriend yoga team has shiwn us. We hope everyone has the best Sunday!

Meet Blondie Saturday 10am-2pm. She is giving SUPER MODEL energy in this photo and we are loving that for her. This poor pup has been waiting awhile for a family and we don’t know why. Blondie is a 1 year old, female, Lab mix looking for a forever home. She loves to run in the yard, soak up attention, and will lean into every cuddle she can get. She would thrive in an active home that matches her playful energy but she’s just as content curling up for a long nap. She gets along well with other dogs (after a proper meet and greet), is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. Please share!

We are so appreciative of your kindness & generosity! Justine ALSO showed up to our Jordan’s Way live fundraiser last week and took a pie to the face like a BOSS. Sage is a 1 year old, female, Lab mixed breed looking for her forever home. She was lucky enough to find an amazing foster home where she is getting the chance to decompress and has been working on her confidence. Although she is timid initially, her foster mom raves about what a silly, sweet, and affectionate dog she is once she feels safe. She has been learning basic commands, has already mastered crate training, and has not had a single accident. She loves other dogs and her ideal home would absolutely have fur siblings for her to play with. Sage will thrive in an active home where she can get her daily zoomies out and play fetch. A fully fenced in yard is highly recommended. She is up to date on vaccinations and is SO ready to begin the next chapter of her life. If you’re willing to invest a little time to gain her trust, she will reward you with endless love.

Daphne will always remind you to slow down, smell the flowers, and live in the moment. We are open Saturday 10am-2pm so please stop in to meet this ray of sunshine. She is a VERY good girl that has been dreaming of her forever home. She has spent far too long waiting for her people to find her. She was born on 1/21/21 and is a lovely Lab mix.

A cozy spot on the couch, daily walks, and the chance to simply be by your side is all that she has ever wanted. She does well on a leash and will absolutely remind you to slow down and see the beauty in the little things. She is up to date on vaccinations and is very ready to start the next chapter of her life. Come meet her, look into her eyes, and you will understand exactly why we’re rooting for her.
