Look how nicely he is coming along! This guy was once a cart pony that only plow reined, no give to the poll and had absolutely no softness. He did not know how to back up and did not know how to move his body around.

I cant wait to see what else he can learn in such a short time.

Well I have my arena dialed in on one side. Did it all in the rain and it was literally very pleasant. Minus my 30 year old mare sneaking out and taking a stroll. lol 😆 thank God she is a doll and I led her back to her pasture pen with just my hands after retrieving her on the 40 acres.

I can wait to start tilling and evening ground out and dumping some sand and saw dust.

With a very heavy heart I'm here to let everyone know that followed my rescue mare Ebba. Our sweet girl is going to fly to the greener pastures that the Lord has waiting for her. She is in an extreme amount of pain even with the pain management we have for her. We have been going back and forth with our vet and with his extensive experience he has found that our beautiful girls hoof wall is separating from advanced laminitis/founder, and that is a very bad sign and unfortunately her value of life is only filled with pain. Ebba will get extra love on top of all the attention she is already receiving for the next two days before we say our final goodbyes. She was a blessing to have around and was always a good girl. I'm happy I made the trip to TX to rescue her. She was loved deeply by all of us and the last act of kindness we can do for her is to have her comfortably euthanized. I want to thank everyone to donated to her and her health and life and I want to thank my family for helping me with her. And I want to thank the Lord for letting such a beautiful kind soul enter into my life.

I would tell anyone that hasn't rescued before. It is hard and so full of emotions and it includes money and hard work and not all of them end the way we want. But the gratitude these remarkable Equine show us when rescuing them will warm your heart in ways it has never been warmed before.

I will rescue again and pray that our next little angel will be just as grateful as our sweet Ebba is.

I refuse to give up on this mare.
A rescue out of a kill pen in Texas with a over a year old c**t on her side as she was skin and bones with feet from a horror scene. Ebba has taken a rough turn. =( legs swelled and crossing her fronts in pain. I'm in the process of buying her boots to help her feet and getting on track to buy her more supplements. Poor girl.
I just love her soul and her strength.
Please lord allow her to find comfort.

👻 Casper 👻

Casper is a large pony that stands 13.2 hh and is built to last. He is 17 years old with a lot of life left in him. This dude is a been there done that type of pony, he has seen and been exposed to all sorts of stuff in life. He is safe, safe, safe with not a mean bone in his body. He has a fun personality and is a joy to be around. Casper is large and strong enough to handle an adult and is trained well and safe enough for a child. This sweet little dude is a point and go type of ride that will last all day and keep up with and even pass up the big boys at times. Talk about the bomb 💣 diggity on the trails!! This guy will go through water, weave nicely in between tough and tight spots along with climb his heart out of a good incline and creep his way down a ravine. He is always trying to please and do exactly what is being asked of him. He gives to the pull and is soft in the face. Casper has a nice handle with neck reining and being responsive to leg ques. He lunges like a pro and stands tied for over nighters. He is a respectful horse in all aspects and gentle as can be. Casper has helped push Cattle, attended speed and fun event for showing. He will ride ba****ck, western, English and even take a double rider.
He isn't spooky at all and enjoys getting out and seeing new things. He has been through town and even to the drive through liquor store to make a beer run. Casper is a trooper and will put up with the adults and the kids shenanigans. He is kind around other farm animals and respects all sorts of fencing. He settles nicely in a pasture, padoct, run or a stall. He is an easy keeper but sure does love his treats and grain when he can get them.
Casper would make a great addition to any family or lesson program. He has more go then whoa but is not hot by any means and listens good to his rider. I truly have nothing bad to say about this guy. But he does have to vices I suppose. One being he can play hard to catch but if you stay with him, he gives up quick and will just face you to be caught. The other is he is blind in his right eye. But please please please don't let that fool you. He is confident in himself and in his handlers/riders. And his eye does not give him any problems.
There is truly so much to be said about him.

Lanefrost.com This is it !!! The hat was wearing during his last ride. For almost 27 years no one has seen it, Jim Sharp had it put away safe and sound. He recently sent the hat back to my grandparent. When we opened the box I got chills !!! It was still covered in mud and still had a feather in it. Large stocky pony. Big and strong enough to handle an adult. Best suited size wise for a child or smaller teen or adult. He packs medium sized adults around like a strait ox.
Casper is safe and broke with a good handle.
Has seen many many things in his life and has been exposed to lots. Has more go then whoa but not hot at all and he listens good.
He is in his late teens and is blind in one eye. But he has no issues with trust and doesn't let his eye bother him at all. Really easy going. He is a good one to have around. W,T,L, stop, back, pivot, neck reins, responds to leg ques, soft in the face, collection and is a you point and he goes type of horse, plus much more. He keeps up with the big guys and sometimes out walks them. Great on trails, arena safe and traffic safe. He would rather get along with any horse that is willing to get along with him. Loads beautiful, lunges like a pro, stands tied for all nighters. Just a cool cool dude here. Had plans with him and they fell through. I'll only offer him once. If I can't find him the perfect home/person/family then he will stay with me he is too good and too cool not to keep. But I know that I'd rather see him in a home where he will be getting ridden more then with me at this time.

Tito has so much heart. ❤️

This c**t has maybe a month in a half 2 months at the most under saddle.

He is taking in so much. Like a sponge 🧽.

He is learning to respond to leg pressure and ques for direction instead of reacting to it by speeding up. You can see him speed up at a couple points in reaction to the leg ques. So I keep the pressure with my leg and just continue to direct him with the reins in a tighter circle until he slows back to a walk. Then I give him his release with the reins and then I ask again with leg and with the right response I release with my leg pressure.

You can see at one point I drop my reins with a loose rein and I put my hands on my hips and direct him with just legs and then I rate him with my body for a stop and back.

Such a fun little horse.

Tito will be looking for his new home in the next couple of months. I had made the plans to keep him so he can be my personal riding horse since I no longer have one. But I have fallen on tough times and have lawyer fees I need to pay.

Tito is out of nice registered stock.I'm waiting on his paperwork to come back since there was a mix up.

Tito is 3 years old and although he isn't a very tall horse he is a strong horse and is built to last. He would make a great little ranch horse, 4h horse. But could really go in any direction.

He has been started right and is coming along beautifully.

Tito will have videos in a month or so.

Keep a look out for him. He is athletic and wants a job. He is a go getter with a good head on his shoulders.

He is not for a beginner. But is not mean and has not offered to be dangerous.
