Controlled Chaos WDC

Controlled Chaos went to the 2024 USCA GSD USP3 National Championship! Rebecca Buchman and her phenomenal BHOT show line Loki were there, along with Nick and Baron.

Rebecca and Loki did a super job showing off his genetics and their training in the stadium. Loki really brought his power in both obedience and protection 💪🏻💪🏻 Unfortunately, a major mistake in tracking pulled them out of the running, but Rebecca is determined to train and do better next national championship 🙌🏻

Nick and Baron made 8th place overall, a very solid finish in a competitive field. Baron was a bit full of himself (usual 🤣) which cost some points, but he made a really powerful showing.

Congratulations to these two!!

One of my favorite championship trial helpers currently active in the USA is Derrike Lacross. He checks the boxes for athletism, timing, power and technique. But what stands out is the pressure he delivers with his explosive drives and finishes. He is a remarkable athlete, a student of the sport, safe and most importantly in love with the sport of IGP.

In this capture, you can see a powerful straight on drive, exploding forward instead of crab stepping along side of the dog. Strong dogs rise to this challenge. Brittany Wild's Tango God of War is one such example of at world championship level dog.

Congratulations to CCWDC member Rebecca Buchman and Loki for a phenomenal showing at the 2024 USCA MidEast Regional Championship! They made:

- 6th place overall with a 268 score
- High breeder-handler-owner trained dog
- High breed surveyed dog
- USCA MidEast Regional Seiger
- Qualified for the USCA GSD IGP3 National Championship

Here's all the videos from the 2024 USCA MidEast Regional Championship!

As we had some technical difficulties during Sunday obedience that caused a few pretty big gaps in coverage, I re-uploaded the recording of that video so its complete.

Also, we didn't realize until tonight that there was a problem with the audio from the judges mic starting with Sunday afternoon protection. Lesson learned that someone should really be spot checking the feed to make sure its all good!
