My little guy has turned two!
Stewie is a little Christmas pup, and truly done a great job at steppin up after his sister retired. He loves making new friends and helping mom out on walks with other pups.

We have offically made it to the farm area! Had a blast taking care of Mako, Maxx, and Mikka!
The amount of time I played fetch with mikka (shepard) should be documented in the world records. This girl LOVES her sticks. Mako (aussie)wanted nothing but to be squished and smothered in kisses while Maxx is a big cuddle bug in bed. Truly had fun with ese babies. Till next time!

I have open availability this month for petsitting,drop-ins, and walks . The only spots blocked are the 12th-15th.

🚨 Public Safety Announcement: Parvo Outbreak Identified 🚨

Wakulla Animal Services has identified an outbreak of Canine Parvovirus (CPV-2), a highly contagious and potentially life-threatening virus that primarily affects dogs. As a precaution, we have quarantined all animals that tested positive for the virus to prevent further spread in our community.

Effective immediately, Wakulla Animal Services will be closing its operations to the public & volunteers until the outbreak is contained. During this period, we will not be able to accept new animal intakes or provide routine services. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to control the outbreak.

What is Canine Parvovirus (CPV-2)?
Parvo is a dangerous viral disease that targets the gastrointestinal tract and immune system, particularly in puppies, unvaccinated dogs, and older dogs with weakened immune systems. The virus spreads through direct contact with infected animals or exposure to contaminated surfaces such as food bowls, kennels, or soil.

Symptoms of Parvo to Watch For:
- Severe vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Lethargy or fatigue
- Bloody or foul-smelling diarrhea
- Rapid dehydration
- Fever or hypothermia (low body temperature)

If your dog exhibits any of these symptoms, seek immediate veterinary care. Parvo can be fatal if left untreated, especially for puppies and senior dogs.

What Can You Do to Help?
- Vaccinate your pets: Ensure your dog is up to date on Parvovirus vaccinations.

- Limit exposure: Avoid parks, pet-friendly areas, or contact with other dogs until the outbreak is under control.

- Disinfect surfaces: Clean pet areas thoroughly with disinfectants and wash your hands and clothing after handling animals.

We urge all pet owners to remain vigilant, as both puppies and older dogs are at high risk for severe symptoms. Protecting your pets through timely vaccinations and hygiene is critical in stopping the spread of the virus.

Meet Lucy (wht) and Dessi (tan). These senior pups are a breeze and just love chilling by the pool side.

🐕 About the pups:
Dessi is a bit of nervous Nelly. Once he knows you he is a ball of love who literally wants to be held like a baby. Lucy is the opposite, you are her friend immediately 🤣 point blank. Both babies are rescues and truly loving the life of luxury
