The unthinkable happened Sunday night. Kingston was killed by our large guardian dogs (Anatolian shepherds.) Kingston dug a spot under a sago palm tree. He must have been working on it for awhile, because he broke the welded wire fence. The palm covered the entire area. The LGD’s couldn’t have gotten over to that area. We left for church, and upon coming home a couple hours later I couldn’t find him anywhere. We grabbed flashlights and searched the five acres. I knew he was gone when he didn’t come running to me when I called for him. Claire found him and let out a blood curling scream. We all ran over to her. My heart sank. 💔
To say that Kingston was our world is an understatement. He was the BEST male we’ve ever had. He had the BEST temperament. He got along with the puppies when they were born. That’s a big deal! He was my shadow! He was the best travel companion. He loved to ride in the sling as we ran errands. We miss him more than words can say!

Puppies are not crawling in their tummies much. They are getting stronger everyday! Being given mash food and lots of moms milk still help them get the most nutrients early on. Trusting a breeder to do what is best for your new puppy can be difficult. But, I’ve earned families trust and they can be confident I’ve given them everything they need at each life stage.

Exciting night! CiCi had her babies last night. 🩷🩷🩵 She had two girls and a boy! They are strong and healthy! Reservations can be made at 2 weeks old.
CiCi is our smallest female. This is her first litter. Tails will be docked and dew claws removed. Will come with vet visit and first shots. Raised in our home and handled by my children too. We love our fur babies!
We are getting their 8 week old checkup at the vet today! One boy and one girl are available. 😍🥰😘♥️
Enjoying dehydrated cod skin jerky! Giving them something new helps entertain them. They’re really loving it!
Let’s get ready to rumble! 🥷 This might seem like something I should break up. But, it’s actually necessary for their development. Puppies need to play fight to learn how hard they can go at it, before someone gets hurt. They need to experience biting and tugging on their ears to learn not to do it later. It helps them learn about winning and loosing. So, as sad as it can be sometimes; it’s also just a right of passage. They learn so much from mom and their littermates during these weeks before they are old enough to go to their new homes. 🐶🐾🦴
