As we navigate the record-breaking snow fall in our area, it's important to consider some cold weather safety tips for our pets - including paw protection. Our pets' paws are susceptible to damage from various winter elements such as snow, ice, and salt.

Consider these tips to keep those furry toes safe and warm!
❄️ Snow bo**ies: The best way to protect your dog's paws is to cover them. Booties come in many different colors and sizes to fit all breeds!
❄️ Vaseline or paw balm: If your pet refuses the fashion statement of a snow bo**ie, try putting petroleum jelly or paw balm on their paws before going outside - this will create a barrier between their paw pad and the snow and ice for a short period of time.
❄️ Towel: Keep a dry towel near the door to wipe your dog's paws when coming inside from a walk or potty break. It's also important to wipe your dog's paws clean of any salt and other chemicals found on the sidewalks and streets.
❄️ Short walks: Dogs can get frostbite or hypothermia in less than 20 minutes in extreme temperatures, so it's important to keep walks and time outdoors limited.

Updated holiday hours:
