We are an exclusive, Kennel-free facility for those like us that don't want to leave their furry kids in kennels or cages.. We will welcome your furry kids into our kennel-free home while you are gone, and they will feel right at "home away from home". Since our boarders stay in our house with our dogs and other dogs, here is a quick checklist of requirements for your dog to stay here at Happy Tai

-All vaccinations up to date
(Bordatella is recommended but not required.)
-On monthly flea/tick preventative
-Spayed/Neutered
-Must get along with other dogs
-No signs of aggression
-Housebroken
-Meet and Greet prior to scheduled visit

This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all.. My husband and I have 4 well-socialized and healthy dogs that are used to other dogs coming and going at our household. I am a former volunteer foster-mom for the Humane Society have managed an Animal Hospital, and have always kept our friend's and family's dogs while they were on vacation. We have 10 acres that are entirely fenced in, a pool and 3 fenced in areas. All our dogs get daily walks around the property (it's like a trip to Disney for them). This is doggy paradise! We do not use crates/cages unless requested by you, so be assured your furry child will be part of our "pack" while they are here. (And yes, they sometimes even sleep in our bed with us!)

We have no breed restrictions, however we will not keep dogs that show any type of aggression, so we require a trial visit, or "Meet & Greet" prior to your vacation/deployment. All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations. All dog(s) must be spayed/neutered. Be prepared to bring your dog's own food to avoid tummy upset, any medicines they need and a blanket or bedding that is familiar to them. Rates per dog are as follows:
Daily rate: $25
Overnight: $30
Monthly rate: $750

Max (fluffy black dog) is a special case - he is a rescue, and is not comfortable (scared, but not aggressive) with anyone except his human, Hilary. I have kept him here for a couple of day stays, and made a little progress with him, but now he is here for several days and nights. I hope to be able to gain his full trust during this time. 😊🤞

*ANNOUNCEMENT TO POTENTIAL NEW CLIENTS*
Due to our overwhelming schedule, waiting lists and booking into next year already, I had to make a decision to stop accepting new clients. For now. If anything changes later this year, I will make another announcement. We appreciate the loyalty of our current clientele and spreading the word about our little operation here, but with our goal to keep a minimum here at a time, I have to do this. We appreciate each and every one of you, and we will continue to provide the best care for our current Happy Tails furkids!

We are always striving to create a great environment for our guest dogs to enjoy while they stay with us, and we have expanded our play areas to include our own 2 acre "dog park". We are going to build a pavillion (this month! 😉) to create shade in the other new play area where there are no trees.

All this costs money of course, and we have not raised our rates in many years, so we have decided that it is time.

As of July 1st, 2021 our rates will increase from $25 per night, to $30 per night, per dog. The daycare only rates will increase from $20 to $25, also per dog.

Puppies that are not yet housebroken, spayed/neutered or special-needs dogs (meds, shots, blind, deaf, for example) will be $30 daycare, or $35 per night.

Since this Covid Pandemic is finally starting to ease up, we are getting busy again, but we are still about quality, and not quantity. We are now "trying" to keep the number of guest dogs between only 6-8 at a time, so that we can provide the best individual care possible for each guest.

Please feel free to ask questions, make comments or even suggestions, and it will be welcomed. Our goal is to continue to make sure all our guests have the best experience while they are here at Happy Tails, so you can enjoy your vacations and trips, worry-free.
