Gone to the dogs! We have 10 apricot to red standard poodle puppies for sale, born 3 May. They are well socialized, nearly ready to go. All vaccines and health certificates will be included with sale. Parents are AKC registered, sire from champion bloodline, and not aggressive to livestock. Poodles are hypoallergenic, intelligent, and easy to train. They love water and are great hunting dogs. Poodles are also playful, excellent companions and can be trained as service dogs or simply give emotional support.
$2000 per puppy includes breeding rights. $300 will reserve your choice of 6 females or 4 males. Pickup in Crestview, FL, or will meet within 2 hour radius with a down payment.

Predators killed 6 of my hens today but left 4 whole bodies and most of another. Please contact me if you want to take the carcasses and process them for people or animals to eat while they are still fresh. It's too soon after my surgery for me to do that much work.

4 chicks with peacombs and blue egg genes just moved outside. 2 have feather legs so likely green egg genes. Mid-Dec hatch $35 all 4 straight run. Add $1/week each chick from now until sold.

Turmeric: voted most successful crop on our farm. These survived a winter of record freezes followed by a summer of drought. Did you know the greens are as nutritious as the roots? The greens are also easier to use. Put them in soups, stews, etc. Just rinse and cut to size, no digging involved.

My husband's dogs killed over a dozen of my chickens yesterday. I don't want to eat chickens I loved. They are in the fridge until someone can pick them up to process. They were out free ranging on a no spray farm. They also ate non-GMO soy-free feed along with produce for treats. Please make an offer ASAP while they are fresh.

This is a harmless Black Racer. I found on our property. Snakes aren't 'good' (non- poisonous) or 'bad' (poisonous). Both classes of snakes are important in nature. They are great at controlling disease carrying mice and rats. Please learn the differences between types of snakes. It is sometimes as easy to relocate them as to needlessly kill them. If you must remove a snake and are afraid to do so call me and I'll see if I can help.

Looking for someone who likes to garden and/or has farm animals and wants old produce to feed them, free except for cost of gas. Every week, I get several boxes of old produce no longer suitable for human consumption from an Asian market and bring it to south Crestview. Someone else needs to sort anywhere from a few to 9 or 10 boxes and take about a third of it to another farm in Mossy Head. Some of the produce may be suitable only for pigs or compost, but most is usually fit for other farm animals or planting and growing. Much of it can be grown outside here during most of the year. The tropicals need cold protection in winter. On occasion, seafood remains are included in the boxes, so a truck is better than an SUV due to odors. With the help of my friend, Judd Boyd, a herpetologist, we were able to rehabilitate this wounded, 54" female gray rat snake. Rat snakes can be a farmer's best friend. Yes, they occasionally eat eggs and a chick or two but they keep disease-prone rats in check. Please learn the differences in your snakes. Rat snakes are harmless to humans and pets.

Wyandotte Easter Egger mix rooster needs new home as flock protector or breeder: $15. He is a very handsome smallish c**k (young rooster) with birchen accents on taupe base, either Andalusian Blue or Mauve? He's friendly, but he has a rose/peacomb combination, and I don't want rose comb babies. Will trade for an EE without yellow skin or greenish legs because my core breeds can't have either: Ameraucana and Marans both have white skin. Will trade for either of those as well. Will not sell for meat or any cruel or inhumane purpose.

I bought 7 Indian Runner ducks a few days ago and only 2 turned out to be females. They are 3-4 months old. At least 3 males need to go before mating age in a couple months. Variety of colors. Pickup in S. Crestview. $15 each, same as I paid.

Looking for someone interested in breeding Ameraucana chicken project colors such as Erminette, silver and chocolate mottled and/or lace to take over so I can retire. Also Birchen Marans and OEs in same colors with dark egg genes. Must agree never to breed related birds because my first concerns are health and hardiness including brains to evade predators while free ranging. Production and friendliness/docility come next. I don't allow mean roosters to mate. The patterns are secondary to meeting APA breed standards where applicable. Even though EEs and OEs are not breeds, I choose to breed all crosses towards Ameraucana and French Marans standards. Each rooster has 3-4 hens. NPIP in S. Crestview, FL. Yes, you can grow citrus in Crestview, Florida. These oversize lemons came off a tree south of our greenhouse. The small orange fruit is not an 🍊, but a limequat. The tree is north of our house, the cold side, but south of a privacy fence that provides warmth.

The cherry tomatoes came from a bush planted in half an IBC tote. When the temperature dipped below freezing last winter, I added another half-tote upside down to make a mini-greenhouse.

The peach is small, but it was the first not stolen by wild animals. The trees are now too big for bird netting, so maybe I'll try Christmas tree tinsel. If you have a better idea, please let me know.

In addition to ideas regarding growing and protecting our crops, I'm always interested in improving the soil and thereby nutrition of everything we grow to eat. Regenerative agriculture is the best way I've learned so far to not only feed our family but keep humans alive on the planet we call home by sequestering carbon. I wish I had heard of biochar (aka charcoal loaded with nutrients) before, but better late than never! Now's our chance to permanently amend our soil and grow food that tastes better than grocery store produce. Any advice?
