This cute and naughty thing decided to scare me last Thursday. She thought she was a cat and ate string. 😳 I took her in to have emergency surgery because an innocent looking piece of string can do so much damage to a dogs intestines and stomach. Anyway she is definitely out of the woods and doing much better. Thank you Dogwood Acres vet for taking such great care of sweet Stella. She is recovering well now and will be available for adoption very soon.

What a difference a few days can make. This is Jimmy AKA little Peanut. He was so shut down when we got him he didn't know how to 'dog' He was scared out of his wits to begin with. He is being more sassy tonight.. he barked at me and tried to play. Rescue is hard, but the rewards far outweigh the difficulties. This is also a testament to how amazing dogs are. Keep growing and learning Jimmy. Nobody will hurt you here.. I promise. Pic on the right is just after we got him. The left is tonight. 💗🐾
