Kentucky horse farm tours 20 minutes from downtown Louisville off 71. Alpaca, bison, sheep, petting zoo, dairy, retired race horses! Oldham Farm Tours is a program of Oldham County Tourism and is used to promote our 13 countywide educational farm tours! Our tours showcase grass-fed beef and organic farms, alpaca farms, dairy farms, buffalo farm, and horse farms of all disciplines and breeds! 🤔 Did you know that in 1910 a large fire spread through downtown La Grange resulting in the death of La Grange’s first mayor, Carlos McDowell? His neck was fractured when a chimney from a burnt building fell on him. McDowell was laid to rest in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
