Shew-wee, yall, we have been pulling some overtime. Extra days, longer hours. We are beat!

We just completed our last day of work for the year!
We will be closed from today till the 3rd of January.

If you need to get in touch, I will have the work phone with me starting on the 26th to answer any calls or texts while we're on Christmas break!

It's been a long time since I've shown a before and after. Diesel came in on Thursday to get cleaned up for his birthday!

This wasn't a regular visit, though. Diesel used to be in every 6 weeks. Him and his mamma moved out of state. They still haven't found a new groomer they approve of.

I'm glad I got the pleasure of washing off all that Oklahoma.

I'm even happier you look like yourself again!

Hey, Dogmo squad.

With the respiratory virus going around right now, I wanted to let everyone know we are taking extra precautions, making sure to sanitize everything between each use.

We would like to also ask that if your pets are coughing or seem to be under the weather to please stay home that day. I promise we will completely understand. We want to make sure that everyone is still able to get groomed, but we want to make sure it's done safely.

If you bring your dog in and it is clearly sick, we will have to send them home and reschedule for a later date. This respiratory virus is not anything to be playing around with.

We are also willing to take extra precautions for your loved ones by providing a 30-minute heads up so that your dogs do not have to be kenneled.

I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to say about this little guy.

The first time I ever groomed Baxter, the Scott's daughter dropped off. I asked how I should cut Baxters hair. Her answer was "short."
I groomed Baxter short that day. The next day, I had a call from Mr. Scott at work bc they, in fact, wanted him fluffy and not short. 😬

This family has been by my side for many years with lots of criticism, love, and praise.

I got to witness Baxter go through many phases. He has also been there with me through my many phases.

He was a client of mine when I was a vet groomer. When I quit my job and started my own thing, this family was so loyal to me that they have followed me everywhere.

Baxter got to be a part of my tacky back drops that at some point, I thought it was cool. 😆

He would never be willing to look at the camera for me. Getting a good shot of him was rare.

Baxter was one of my ride or dies. I will always miss him. Even his sassy-ness about brushing his tail.

RIP B boy

And to ALL the Scott's! I'm sending you all my love you amazing human beings.🧡🧡

When I first started grooming, I was not that found of doodles because of how complex they are to make them them to look the way everyone wants them.

Today, I will gladly do them all. It always feels good to complete a groom that takes a lot of skills.

It feels even better when you get to tell your new clients that we need to grow some things out to complete the look when they're coming from a different shop.

Not that it feels good to take the clients from others, but it feels good to know your skill level has grown and that you have that attention to detail.

I know we were just claiming how thankful we all were.I would like to say I am proud of the groomer I have grown into and proud that I've never given up.
