We have lots of kitties that would love to have their very own home to play in. 🐾We have a room full of females (4 Littles and 2 Bigger). If you are a cat person, you will find great joy in playing with these lovelies. 🥰 Their motors start running as soon as you start to cuddle them. Forget trying to get a picture of them... one is always blurry as they are on the go. 😆

Ares is currently seeking a family! ♥️

He is just 9 months old, and is such a fun and incredibly sweet boy! He loves to cuddle and show affection. 🥰

He does well with most dogs and loves to play! 🐶 He also doesn’t mind cats or chicken.

He loves playing tug of war and with anything that squeaks!🧸

He will need some time to get accustomed to riding around in the car as it’s not his favorite. 🚙

Ares does well in a kennel and is potty trained.

Oh Baby Girl… 🥹

This sweet pup has been waiting for her forever home for too long , and it’s high time she found her place in the world! At just 11 months old, Baby Girl is still a playful pup and loves to have fun! 💕

Baby Girl is such a good dog! We know this breed can get a bad rap, but she adores people and is always ready to make a new dog friend! We think she would do wonderful with any family. ♥️

She is great at playing fetch! She loves it, and it’s so fun to play with her! 🦴

While she may need some help with walking nicely on a leash, don’t worry! Baby Girl will come with a free training session from Let’s Get Pawsitive LLC to help her learn the ropes. 🦮

BUDDY HAS A NEW HOME! 💞 We couldn't be happier about this furbaby finding his very own family. It only took them one night of the trial to know that he was a perfect fit. We all knew something special was going to happen for this sweet boy. He was so excited to meet them that we couldn't get him to look at the camera for his adoption picture. 🥰 He's already picked his spot on the couch - but also loves to cuddle with all of his new family members. Welcome home Buddy. 🐾🥰

Meet Miss Mable! We pulled her from the pound, where she was for several months, and now she is safe and warm with us ❤️

This pup is only 10 months old and is so full of life! 🥰 She is super happy go lucky and LOVES to play fetch! So don’t plan on adopting this girl unless you are planning on a signing an agreement to buy tennis balls for life 😂🤣

She is friendly with most other dogs, and loves all people she meets!

She is on the smaller side, and each part of her coat seems to have a different pattern! So beautiful and unique!

Fostering animals is very important for our shelter.

Being a small shelter who covers all of Pulaski County, we rely on foster homes more than ever. We take a range of dogs and cats including young, sick, injured, or under-socialized animals. Volunteer foster families give us the ability to keep taking in these animals.

This extra care that foster families provide is so crucial, whether it is an orphaned kitten needing bottle fed, or a dog that just needs help overcoming some fear to senior pets needing a warm home and love the last part of their life. You can be the difference they need.

Here at Loving Paws Adoption Center, we work very hard to provide a clean environment for our animals, volunteers, and guests. With the weather being harsh, we have been going through our cleaning supplies fairly quick.

We have created an Amazon Shopping list with only cleaning supplies that we use at the shelter. If you can help, everything is appreciated. From a lot to a little. It all adds up so that we can ensure a wonderful experience for everyone here at the shelter. The Amazon link is below.

Check out this big, beautiful boy! 🥰🤩🥰🤩

Meet Buddy! He’s an affectionate giant with a heart of gold, and he’s only 1-2 years old. From the moment you lay eyes on him, you’ll see that he adores every single person he meets—this big guy just can’t get enough love 🥰

Just a heads up, though: Buddy gets super excited and has a tendency to jump up in his excitement, so he’ll need some training to help him learn to keep those paws on the ground. With a little guidance, he’ll be a well-mannered boy in no time!

Buddy has made a female doggy friend at the shelter! It also looks like he could do good with some males! If you have other dogs at home, a meet and greet would be important to ensure everyone gets along.

Please note that Buddy cannot be in a home with cats, as he has a strong prey drive.

The good news is that he’s kennel trained, which makes him easier to manage when you’re not around. Plus, he’s food motivated, that will help with his training and reinforce positive behaviors!

Who wants a certified snuggle bug to spend their days with!? Who is looking for a dog that will give you all of her heart, keep you warm on cold days and promise to be there even on your worst moments (without judgement!)

Look no further, Precious is the dog for you! ❤️

This 2 year old female only wants to snuggle with those she loves. She doesn’t like to play with toys, but she does love to go for a walk.

She is picky when it comes to doggy friends, but who can blame her. I don’t want to be friends with every person I meet either. A meet and greet will be important if you have other dogs in the home. 🏠

Update! We have received multiple applications for foster as well as for adoption!*

🌟 We are desperately looking for someone who can offer him a foster home, or a forever home! 🌟

Buckeye is an 11 month old male, and he is such a sweet boy!

He does great with other dogs, good with kids, and he is crate trained! He loves to play with toys and to run around in the yard. He loves food and is easy to train and work with because of this. He walks nice on a leash, and responds to his name.

However, the shelter environment has begun to weigh heavily on his spirit. After spending months behind those bars, the once vibrant and playful puppy is now becoming anxious and fearful. It’s heartbreaking for those who love him and see how great he is.

When the weather was warmer, back in September, he went to multiple events and did great. He loved to meet all the new people! Now, he is afraid to walk away from the shelter and is very afraid of cars driving by him. We know that outgoing and adventurous boy is still in there, he just needs someone to give him a home so he can decompress and thrive! He needs someone to take a chance on his so he can show them how amazing he is and how much love and joy he can give !

Buckeye is neutered, heart worm tested, microchipped with a lifetime registration, on heart worm & flea/tick prevention and dewormed.

Buckeye is 11 months old now and has spent the past 5 months with us. It’s very sad to see him grow up in the shelter. He is a fantastic pup! He is so friendly and happy. He just loves to play.😃 Buckeye is great with other dogs and has made so many doggy friends. He did wonderful at every event we took him out to when the weather was nicer. He has loved every single person he’s ever met. ❤️ He is crate trained, knows “sit” and is so handsome. 🤩 We can’t figure out why he hasn’t been adopted yet, but we know that the perfect family is waiting for him. Check out this big, beautiful boy! 🥰🤩🥰🤩 Meet Buddy! He’s a big dog with a heart of gold. He is only 1-2 years old. He's loved every single person he's met so far—this guy just can't get enough of being around people! Just a heads up, though: he gets super excited and has a tendency to jump, so he'll need some training to help him keep those paws on the ground. We haven't had a proper introduction to another dog yet, but Buddy definitely showed interest in playing with a couple of female dogs on the other side of the fence. He wasn’t bothered when males came near him. A meet and greet would be important if you have other dogs in the home. He can not be in a home with cats. He is kennel trained! He is also food motivated, so that will help with training! Come meet Buddy!

This sweet pup is one of our longest residents. She has been with us for 4 months now. Growing up in the shelter is not fun for any puppy. Baby Girl is 10-11 months old, she is good with other dogs and loves to play with other dogs here at the shelter. She is good with all people and is very friendly. She can be mouthy when she is excited, so she will need help redirecting those play bites onto toys, but since she already loves to play with toys and play fetch, it shouldn’t be too difficult. She will also need some help learning how to walk nice on a leash, but can you blame her? She has been raised in the shelter. Baby girl has a sweet personality, she is very smart, and she is ready for her own home! Please consider her if you are looking for a new dog in your family.

Buckeye spent his first Christmas in the shelter. He really wished he could've been in a cozy home instead, but he hasn't lost hope! 🙌 Buckeye is 10 months old and such an awesome pup! He's super friendly with people, gets along great with other dogs, and just wants to play with cats! He's kennel trained and doesn't chase chickens. What's not to love about this guy!? 🥹 He likes playing with toys, but what he really loves is playing with other dogs! He also really likes getting pets and attention from anyone he can. He is such a sweet puppy! He will curl up in your lap and snuggle in. Maybe he will get to spend New Years in his forever home? Benzie is a happy guy! He is the sweetest big dog you’ll meet. He is just 4 years old. His whole body just wiggles when you walk up to his kennel. ♥️ This boy loves toys! He loves to hold them, play fetch, bring them on walks, they are his favorite. Well, his favorite next to getting pet and scratches on his big head. 😍 He is picky with dog friends, and he does have a prey drive with small animals.
