‼️Trainers/breeders BEWARE‼️

Fellow dog trainers/breeding friends I am making this post to shed some light on a situation that has recently happened. Clients by the name of Morgan Wolbrueck and Michael Adams are huge con artists and scammers for training services and should not be trusted. Long post ahead…

In November 2022 I was contacted by Morgan for puppy headstart training for our gun dog program for a young GSP named cricket. She paid my $100 deposit to enroll and dropped her off, signing our training contract. We talked about the process and she agreed to involved and come out after I completed puppy headstart to see her.

I completed crate training along with some basic obedience and intro to marking and birds with her within that first month. Once I completed my portion she would be turned over to Justin for the remainder of the basic gun dog program. I contacted Morgan and sent updates of her progress throughout puppy headstart and FaceTimed her the day she graduated from me since she “could not make it out” to see her. It was time to collect funds and she assured me she would send them though Venmo as she did previously, but never got them. I messaged several times and she explained she was having issues with her health and they were tight on funds. Of course being the person I am, I believed her.

December 2022-April 2023, Justin has taken over training and has sent messages with no response from either of them. We both agreed that training needed to cease until the outstanding balance was paid. Myself and Justin reached out several times for resolution on the matter with no response with total balance owed ect. I finally sent a message stating that she would now need to be surrendered to us with her registration per our contract since the balance was not paid. Morgan responded and stated they were trying to come up with money. Then went radio silent.

I then sent a final message stating I was contacting an attorney (which I did) to reach out to them. They also did not respond to that. We didn’t want to proceed forward since we were already out several thousand dollars. Never heard from them again and Cricket became property of LL Gun Dogs.

Fast forward to August 2024 and Cricket has been publicly posted for rehoming after several attempts to rehome her privately. A guy by the name of Jayson Hamett contacts Justin and wants to purchase Cricket. An exit session is completed and Cricket goes to her “new” home this past weekend. Justin gets a phone call today from anonymous person apprising him on the situation that Jayson was a friend of Michael’s, and he purchased Cricket to give back to Michael and Morgan. They also stated that they have done this several times before and will not pay their balances. They knew the situation with cricket from the beginning and when they found out that they got her back this weekend, called to let us know what happened.

An outstanding balance of $9000+ dollars for training services was owed, not to mention boarding for nearly 2 years with medication and updated vaccines.

She was purchased back for $3800 plus the $100 deposit paid upfront.

We’re wanting to make others aware of the wrong doing so that others do not get taken advantage of.

I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to introduce this handsome guy and now is a better time than ever! This is “DEUCE” our next Slim prodigy from our recent litter with Miss Annie. I didn’t have any intentions of keeping another male anytime soon, but this guy is something special. He blew me away when he breezed through puppy headstart and keeps amazing me daily. The last time I had a GSP with natural talent like his, was when Slim was a puppy believe it or not. His retrieving desire is off the charts and I couldn’t let him slip through my fingers! I hold Slim to such a high standard and have never felt that there was a pup that could be exactly like him until now. My cup is FULL! 🖤🖤🖤 He thinks we’re just playing and spending time together. Miss Wicked our Cocker Spaniel worked on some basic marking concepts in the yard today after having a stellar obedience session! This little girl is a fireball and so eager to learn and work at just 4 months old! My goal for this mark was a “key-hole” illusion to make her push through to the area of the fall, giving her a little challenge but also making her successful. We’ve been stretching our marks all week up to 100 yards and her progress is AMAZING! She’s one that takes little direction and grasps concepts so easily. I’m super excited for her future!
