Chris and I returned from the Hershey Groom Expo extra tired this year! With our two littles in tow we did everything we could that we normally do in four days in two days! 🥴

It really wouldn’t have been possible without the preorder option from Groomers-Mall making our shopping experience SO much more relaxing this weekend.

We were so happy we were able to bring our team member and he could take classes. All of us got new smocks INCLUDING Josephina who was gifted a smock just her size by Jodi Murphy ♥️. It was very special! We picked up our new comb and stripping knife set to add to our collection! We now have one in every venue we groom dogs and cats!!

We picked up a brand new Hanvey Hair Vac! Super excited to have one of those in every venue we groom dogs and cats now too!!

We were greeted by our tradeshow friends and it was so nice to catch up! The whole team Sensei Shear Systems was amazing as we picked up a new pair of blending shears 🤩 and got Josephina her very first pair of straights. They are like family. ♥️

We saw and spoke with River Lee, Erin E. Martin, Denise Heroux, Mary Oquendo, Jennifer Bishop-Jenkins, Chrissy Neumyer Smith Mgbs, Aaron D. Culligan, Sarah Drouin, Anne Francis, Helen Schaefer, Cristiane Chantel-Thomas, Stephanie Erianne-Vincent, Tara Whitney, and Brittany Bohn, Reginal Moorer, Blake Hernandez, Katie Cecilio, Amy Lupcho, David Torres, and waved to so many more whether they wanted my waves or not. 😆

We also have Mobile Grooming and Transportation Services for Pets!

Our company is seeking a reliable, patient, and hardworking individual.

The Pet Care Specialist works hands on with animals every shift.

- Must have dog sense.
- Must be able to be exposed to pet fur and dander.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and lift.
- Must be punctual.

Pet Care Specialists have excellent client communication skills and a strong dedication to outstanding client service.

Pet Care Specialists must be able to empathize with clients and remain compassionate and well mannered under all circumstances.

Pet Care Specialists must be able to identify any potential health concerns of the animals and must feel comfortable communicating their concerns to the client.

Pet Care Specialists must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects, the dexterity and confidence to handle, bathe, and groom pets that may be scared and/or aggressive.

This dog's owner just passed away. He’s a 3-Year-old Anatolian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees about 115 lbs., and his name is Brazos. He’s house broken and has some training. Is your cat shedding like crazy?

Does your cat have oily or flakey skin?

Is your cat smelly?

WE CAN HELP! It's important to get your cat used to the bathing process. We start with an introduction to grooming visit where we work with your cat in a cat-specific area.

They have a bed, litterbox, water, and their own clean space to relax. We introduce the tools, the table, and tub, and the equipment. During this visit, we also brush and comb them and trim their nails and clean their ears compassionately.

At this visit, we gauge their reaction to the sight and the sound of the water and the blow dryer and we make recommendations to help your cat to become acclimated to the process. Together we will come up with a plan to get their skin back to a clean and healthy natural state.

If your cat is not already matted - bathing and professionally blow drying a cat is THE way to remove the dead/compacted coat that can cause hairballs, constipation, and skin issues - and if left alone the compacted coat will become significantly more uncomfortable and matted with time.

Cats' fur sheds in cycles but our modern-day house cat sheds throughout the seasons.

Breeds such as Persians, Himalayans, Ragdolls, Norwegian Forest Cats, and Maine C***s especially need baths to maintain their skin and coat health.

Our Large Tub can lower down to 8” to allow the Gentle Giants to walk directly in and the basin is large enough to allow a dog to lay down. With plenty of hands for support and a bar to help hoist them up if needed we aim to to give the big dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with medical conditions the very best of us.

CAT GROOMERS, CAT OWNERS, & CAT LOVERS:

Anyone interested in learning more about grooming a cat with a partner - the amazing Groom Haüs put together this video of us working with dear Simba.

Since this video…Chris and I have become members of the National Cat Groomers Institute and we are working towards our CFMG certification and we have implemented even more options for professional cat grooming services!

With some desensitization visits and uplifting client education, we now have Simba coming in for regular bathing and blow drying sessions. He still visits for nail trimming and hygeinic clipping between bath visits and he still LOVES his face wiped. 😹

With a clean dry coat - his comb out is a breeze for mom and with him coming on a regular interval - he is familiar and not longer fearful of any part of the process. 🙌🏼

The cat bath and blowdry and are so effective and even more gentle on the cat compared to the brush out and comb out without the bath. 🚿 🧼

Concerned your cat won’t tolerate bathing or blow drying? We always start by scheduling introductory sessions for your cat and work at their pace to desensitize them to the tools, the team members, the environment, and the grooming process.
